🚨 BREAKING: FEMA whistleblowers have revealed a treasonous misuse of taxpayer funds.

Pre-disaster aid for Hurricane Helene was withheld, leaving first responders and service members in hotels, waiting for orders that never came.

Matt Gaetz is now blasting Alejandro Mayorkas, saying, "FEMA has wasted taxpayer funds, misappropriated funds, and left other federal, state, and local responders without deployment orders on the ground."

Gaetz also confirms that "hundreds, if not thousands of service members were deployed by the Department of Defense to North Carolina and have sat idle, waiting for FEMA."

To make matters worse, Gaetz points out that FEMA funds were used by NGOs to buy airline tickets for migrants, even though the money was meant for disaster relief. He stresses, "The aftermath of Hurricane Helene is a major disaster, and your waste and unpreparedness are leaving Americans in distress—unable to access food, water, or medicine—and expecting help, with none coming."

Gaetz is demanding answers by October 11, 2024, asking Mayorkas to explain how much of FEMA’s budget has been diverted to services for illegal immigrants instead of being used to help Americans in need.

The Chevron Doctrine, established in Chevron U.S.A., Inc. v. Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. (1984), required courts to defer to an administrative agency's interpretation of a statute it administers if the statute is ambiguous, provided the agency's interpretation is reasonable. This deference allowed agencies considerable leeway in interpreting laws, impacting various regulations including those related to environmental, labor, and emergency management issues.

Chevron: The Supreme Court's decision to overturn the Chevron Doctrine means that courts will no longer automatically defer to an agency's interpretation of a law it administers if there's ambiguity. Instead, courts will independently interpret these ambiguities, potentially leading to significant changes in how agencies like FEMA operate.

FEMA's actions, especially in disaster response, are primarily guided by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Stafford Act). This act gives FEMA broad but defined powers in disaster situations, which do not directly rely on the Chevron deference for their legal foundation. However, how FEMA interprets and applies the Stafford Act could now be more frequently challenged in court without the previous deference.

This is where we are people. Remember when the Chevron Doctrine was overturned it put agencies like FEMA into legal questioning which can now be challenged by the state.

The amounts that FEMA has paid to Catholic Charities to fund the flow of illegals into our country are huge — but what the State Department and USAID have done is even worse.

The State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration - or PRM - gave the International Organization of Migration $1.0 billion in FYE 2023 alone. USAID gave $420 million.

The Heritage Foundation's Mike Howell noted that these NGOs are also “involved in lobbying the Biden administration and our Congress to keep the border wide open.

Howell singled out the Catholic Church, noting that “Catholic charities are a prime example. They're really the 800 pound gorilla when it comes to this. They are deeply involved in facilitating the travel of illegal aliens throughout the country.”

The massive and ongoing donations directly from FEMA to Catholic Charities backs this assertion up (see our pinned tweet on this issue).

According to the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM): “U.S. contributions… helped the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance increase its asylum registration and processing capacity by 400 percent.”

The report notes that “PRM plans to build out new NGO programming to augment its Mexico and Central America response.”

The State Department’s PRM is also working to ensure a steady flow of illegal migrants.

As their report notes, “In Central America and Mexico, PRM support helps government officials and civil society to identify, screen, protect, and assist vulnerable migrants and to strengthen national asylum systems and other protection capacities.“

The hard truth is that we're paying for the flow of illegals through massive federal subsidization of the hundreds of NGO's that set up waystations throughout all of Latin America.

Back in 1798, the government made a set of laws called the Alien and Sedition Acts. It was all about controlling immigration and shutting down free speech if you talked trash about the government. They were worried about foreign influence, especially French and Irish immigrants who supported the French, because of political tensions in Europe.

The Naturalization Act: It made it harder for immigrants to become U.S. citizens. They had to wait 14 years instead of 5 to be officially considered Americans.

The Alien Friends Act: This one gave the president the power to kick out any non-citizen who they thought was dangerous. No trial needed—just gone.

The Alien Enemies Act: During wartime, this law let the president lock up or deport immigrants from countries we were at war with. So, if we were at war with France, any French immigrant could be sent packing.

The Sedition Act: This one was about speech. If you bad-mouthed the government or said something false about it, you could be thrown in jail. It was like saying, "Keep your opinions to yourself, or else."
