Former GOP congressional candidate arrested on allegations of Madison County ballot theft

Larry Lee Savage Jr., a former Republican 5th Congressional District candidate, turned himself in to authorities Tuesday morning after he was charged with stealing ballots during a public test of voting machines in Madison County.
Before voting machines can be used in Indiana elections, they're tested in front of political parties' representatives, candidates, media and the general public. Savage was elected as a precinct committeeman, a local political party leader, during the May Republican primary and was participating in a public voting machine test in Madison County on Oct. 3.

In the tests, election officials manually calculate results from pre-marked ballots. People attending the test are then invited to run those ballots through the voting machines to make sure the computerized systems counted accurately.
Madison County tested four voting machines with 136 ballots on Oct. 3. Two of the ballots went missing over the course of the test. Surveillance footage showed Savage folding them and putting them into his pocket, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Elections 2024 live updates:Marion County voters face long lines to vote early
Charging documents say he then approached Katherine Callahan, a former Republican Madison County auditor candidate, and whispered "f----- up count."

Test ballots are identical to official ballots but say "test" on the back of the paper. Test ballots could be put through a scanner at a polling place to cast an actual vote, and they're still considered official ballots under state law. They must be sealed and disposed of like official paper ballots.
While conducting a search warrant, Indiana State Police found the missing ballots in Savage's car. One was a straight Republican ballot and the other was blank.

Savage told an investigator on the scene that he took the ballots because the woman overseeing the event said they weren't real ballots. A recording of the testing event showed that she told the attendees, "They are live ballots. They are live election ballots."
In an interview, a detective asked Savage why he put the ballots in his pocket if he believed he could freely take one. Savage "stated that he wasn't going to incriminate himself," according to a probable cause affidavit.

He told police he had no ill intentions and would have returned the ballots if he'd known he wasn't allowed to take them. Investigators cast doubt on this claim after an examination of his cellphone revealed that he texted Callahan about an hour after the test and asked, "Sis they say anything about the ballots I took?"
On Monday, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Savage on one charge of destroying or misplacing a ballot and one charge of theft. He reported to jail Tuesday morning.

A representative for the voting machines' manufacturer told police the ballot theft was "sabotage of the public test and their voting equipment," according to court documents.
Savage ran in the Indiana 5th Congressional District Republican primary in May against Rep. Victoria Spartz and seven other candidates, winning just under 2% of the vote. On social media, Savage describes himself as a "MAGA candidate."

An initial appearance has not yet been scheduled, according to online records. No defense attorney is listed for Savage. Griffin Reid, a spokesperson for the state GOP, condemned Savage.
"We unequivocally condemn any form of criminal election interference," Reid said. "We appreciate law enforcement’s efforts in pursuing justice and we will continue to monitor this situation as the process unfolds."

The Supreme Court has a handful of elections related documents on the docket leading up to the election. So I guess we should prepare for the inevitable outcome of what this means. Because They already ruled non citizens can not vote in Virginia. Things are about to turn up to a thousand degrees. 🌡

November's High Stakes: The U.S. Supreme Court Tackles Landmark Cases

The U.S. Supreme Court gears up for a series of pivotal hearings in November 2024, set to navigate through some of the most contentious legal waters of recent times. Here's a rundown of what's on the docket:

Gilead Life Sciences v. Superior Court: Scheduled for October but spilling into the public consciousness, this case examines the intersection of patent law and public health. Gilead, known for its HIV drugs, is facing challenges regarding patent infringement and the broader implications for pharmaceutical innovation versus generic drug availability. The outcome could influence how new drugs are patented and how long exclusive rights should last, affecting consumer access to medication.

Election-Related Applications: The Court has taken up two applications related to election processes in Pennsylvania, highlighting the ongoing national debate over voting rights and election integrity. One involves a ruling on ballots, and the other, seemingly less likely to succeed, concerns the candidacy application of Cornel West, reflecting the broader discussion on candidate eligibility and electoral processes.

Stanley v. Sanford: This case, although listed for January, touches upon a theme of broad interest: the application of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protections to retired employees. The decision could redefine how retirement and disability rights intersect, potentially expanding or limiting the scope of ADA protections in workplace scenarios after retirement.

Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton: Another case with significant implications for privacy versus regulation, this argument revolves around Texas's attempt to mandate age verification for accessing pornographic websites. The case delves into First Amendment rights in the digital age, questioning how far states can go in regulating internet content for the sake of public morality.

These cases represent more than just legal disputes; they are pivotal moments where the Court's decisions could steer the course of American law, policy, and societal norms for years to come. Here's what makes them stand out:

Patent Law and Public Health: Gilead's case could set a precedent for how pharmaceutical patents are handled, potentially balancing the need for innovation with public health demands for affordable medication.

Voting Rights: The election-related cases underscore the ongoing battle over how votes are cast, counted, and who qualifies to run for office, touching the heart of democratic processes.

Disability Rights in Retirement: Stanley v. Sanford might redefine what protections employees have post-retirement, affecting how companies manage their retired workforce's benefits and accommodations.

Internet Freedom vs. Regulation: The Texas case could either reinforce the fortress around free speech online or allow for a more regulated internet, affecting everything from content creation to user privacy.

STATEHOUSE (Oct. 11, 2024) State Reps. Wendy McNamara (R-Evansville) and Tim O’Brien (R-Evansville) encourage Hoosiers to take advantage of a new state website to compare health care prices and quality.
In 2020, state lawmakers passed a law establishing the newly launched Indiana All Payer Claims Database, which is overseen by the Indiana Department of Insurance, to help increase transparency in health care costs. The website collects insurance claims data from public and private health care payers to track the cost, utilization and quality of health care across the state.

“This dashboard allows Hoosiers to get answers on quality and pricing for common medical procedures across the state,” McNamara said. “Constituents can now make more informed decisions on their health care.”

McNamara said the APCD lets Hoosiers search what other patients have paid for common procedures across regions, providers and insurance plans. Additionally, the database includes a list of health care providers that perform services within certain distances from a zip code, the average out-of-pocket costs for a service and the quality rating for that facility. For example, Hoosiers needing a knee replacement can select their insurance, procedure and zip code on the database to view a list of nearby health care providers that perform the service, the quality rating for that facility and the average out-of-pocket cost.

“Not only does this website provide helpful information for consumers, but it will also be useful for researchers and policy makers,” O’Brien said. “They can use this data to study ways to make health care better and more affordable across the state.”

According to O’Brien, the goals of the database are to inform Hoosiers seeking medical care, identify state health care needs, support health care policy, and improve the quality and affordability of health care in the state.

Information collected by the APCD complies with the security standards outlined in the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act also known as HIPAA and the U.S. Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act. Onpoint Health Data, the Indiana APCD administrator, is also certified by HITRUST, an industry-leading standard in health data security that uses both federal and state security requirements.

https://indianacapitalchronicle.com/videos/logansport-officials-say-immigration-is-nothing-new-as-haitian-influx-goes-national/

Thousands of Haitian nationals with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) have found a home in the Hoosier city of Logansport — drawing national political ire and motivating new federal legislation.
But area officials — and Gov. Eric Holcomb — say the north-central city of 18,000 isn’t in crisis.
“Are there challenges? Absolutely,” Rep. Ethan Manning, R-Logansport, said. “Is it as bad as some of the national media is portraying it? No.”
A political action committee supporting Donald Trump for president on Tuesday highlighted Logansport in a campaign missive. Also on Tuesday Third District GOP Congressman Jim Banks also cited Logansport when filing a bill cracking down on immigration.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security can designate people from another country for TPS when conditions there are so bad that nationals can’t return safely, or the country can’t adequately oversee their return, according the agency’s website.

Sixteen countries are on the list, including Haiti. It’s set to expire in early 2026 after a recent redesignation by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Last month, the U.S. State Department updated its “do not travel” advisory for Haiti — the most severe warning available — citing civil unrest, crimes and kidnappings. The agency noted there’s limited health care in cases of injury or illness and said shortages of gasoline, electricity and medical supplies are common.

Logansport Mayor Chris Martin has previously estimated that 2,000 to 3,000 Haitian people have come to the city in the last four years. He wasn’t available for comment Wednesday.

Manning said Martin and Police Chief Travis Yike had reported no increase in violent crime. But, he noted an increase in traffic violations.
Manning also recounted speaking with Tyson Foods officials, who run a meat processing plant in Logansport. He said Haitian employees aren’t on Medicaid since Tyson offers health insurance starting “day one,” and that the company doesn’t provide free housing or large-scale transportation.
Logansport Community School Corporation Superintendent Michele Starkey said the district was “operating as normal” and is “not overrun” in comments last week to the Pharos-Tribune.
The district has an estimated 205 Haitian students this school year, according to the publication.

immigration generally is nothing new Hispanic population within the city for a long time,” he said. “Our schools have been over 50% English language learners for several years. Ththey want to come in and check things out,” he said. “But my focus is on making sure the hospital, the schools (are also seeing an INCREASE it’s been at the federal level,” he told the Capital Chronicle.
“This is a country that was built on — literally founded and fought for — Holcomb continued. “… When increase itself, and you recognize the legal status of these immigrants that the light has been shown on, this is
The spotlight on Logansport has motivated legislation. Banks, of Columbia City, introduced the ” End Executive Branch Amnesty Act” on Wednesday. It takes aim at TPS.

The legislation includes provisions tightening policies for unaccompanied minors and banning the use of DHS-issued documents as valid identification in airport security checks. It would repeal “cancellation of removal,” in which migrants can ask judges for status adjustments.
“Small towns across our nation like Logansport, Indiana, are bearing the brunt of the Biden-Harris White House’s reckless open border policies. It’s time for Congress to secure our border once and for all,” Banks said in a news release.
He accused President Joe Biden’s administration of having “abused the laws on the books to grant millions of non-citizens legal status,” adding, “Republicans must restore our immigration system to Congress’s original intent and ensure parole is only used as a last-ditch humanitarian measure to help foreign nationals in times of catastrophe.”

Welfare offices and other agencies in at least 46 US states are providing voter registration forms to migrants without requiring proof of citizenship, leading Republicans and conservatives to call for swift federal action to stop the handouts.
Every state but North Dakota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Wyoming gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots federal voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship.
There is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of US citizenship, though it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot in a federal election.

But millions of migrants with humanitarian parole, refugee or asylum status are eligible for benefits that would bring them to the offices where voter registration takes place.

The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) of 1993 ordered states to register voters at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and agencies where Americans apply for public benefits — and those offices are required by federal law to hand over the registration forms along with the application papers.

If an applicant attests that they are a US citizen, that is considered valid on its face and the person is registered to vote — except in Virginia, Tennessee and New Mexico where they must provide a full Social Security number as well.
Arizona recently passed a law requiring proof of citizenship on state but not federal voter registration forms.
The House Administration Committee last month approved the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to require states to receive proof of citizenship when anyone registers to vote by mail, at a DMV or a welfare agency office.
“While Biden and radical progressive Democrats give ISIS and criminals an app to literally schedule their illegal entry, Republicans must fight any chance of illegal voter registration until we can mass deport,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), who introduced the measure, told The Post.

“As President Biden has welcomed millions of illegal aliens through our borders, including sophisticated criminal syndicates and foreign adversaries, it is incumbent upon Congress to implement greater enforcement measures that secure the voter registration process and ensure only American citizens decide the outcome of American elections,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) said in a statement following its approval.

“It is undeniable that the current structure makes it possible for illegal immigrants and non-citizens to vote — and the American people have no way of knowing how widespread the problem may be,” Ryan Walker, executive vice president at the conservative Heritage Foundation’s sister group, Heritage Action, told The Post.
“The SAVE Act puts all of these issues to rest and gives Americans confidence that our elections are decided on a more even playing field,” Walker said.

COLBERTCOMMENT:

Indiana Attorney General Office should investigate the “facilitators” of the Southwest Indiana United Way funded “Haitian Center” in Evansville, Indiana. There are many known NGOS providivg support and specific government agencies in Evansville coordinating with the Haitian Center. (Vincennes University is partnering with Work Force Development) The research has been completed and specific individuals must be investigated regarding their involvement of destroying our communities.

Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales Meets with FBI in Indianapolis Amidst Election Integrity Concerns

INDIANAPOLIS, November 8, 2024 – Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales, accompanied by his legal team, attended a meeting with the FBI at the agency's Indianapolis field office today. The meeting follows Morales's recent public stance against federal interference in the state's electoral process, particularly aimed at ensuring the integrity of the 2024 General Election.

A source close to Morales's campaign, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed to the Hoosier Enquirer that the meeting involved discussions around Morales's campaign finances. This comes at a time when Morales has been embroiled in controversy over allegations of voting irregularities. Despite rumors, there has been no conclusive evidence that Morales voted twice in the 2022 election.

The dialogue with the FBI, according to the source, also veered towards Morales's handling of election security, a topic of significant public interest in Indiana. However, the FBI has officially stated that the meeting did not address allegations of gang activity or money laundering related to Morales. This clarification came after Indy Politics reported that Morales might be under investigation for financial misconduct, a claim which has stirred considerable debate.

Complicating the narrative, Indy Politics CEO Abdul Hakim Shabazz, who initially reported on the Morales investigation, himself faces scrutiny.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita recently referred to Shabazz as "the village idiot.”. There are multiple allegations from Former Employees against Shabazz concerning his financial dealings during his time as President of the Marion County Fairgrounds Board. Shabazz is involved in a Federal Lawsuit where he lied 15 times under oath to the Federal Grand Jury. Shabazz, known for his controversial reporting, has been criticized by peers, including local radio personality Rob Kendall, who on WIBC radio called him out for spreading misinformation.

When approached for comment, an FBI spokesperson confirmed the meeting with Morales but refrained from elaborating on the specifics of the discussion, stating only that it did not pertain to gang-related activities or money laundering directly involving Morales.

The meeting has raised questions about election integrity and the transparency of political figures in Indiana. As the state moves forward with its electoral processes, the involvement of federal agencies like the FBI in state politics continues to be a topic of both concern and speculation among Hoosiers.

About the Meeting:

- Date: November 8, 2024

- Location: FBI Indianapolis Field Office

- Participants: Diego Morales with legal counsel

- FBI's Stance: No confirmation of an investigation into Morales for money laundering or gang activities.

This development underscores the complex interplay between state governance, federal oversight, and public trust in electoral processes. As Indiana navigates these waters, all eyes will be on how these interactions might influence future elections and the political landscape of the state.

The prestigious Cleveland Clinic has issued a chilling warning of an incoming wave of deaths that will kill off huge numbers of people who received Covid mRNA “vaccines.”

However, rather than issuing a red alert to the public about the looming catastrophic death wave, the Ohio-based nonprofit academic medical center quietly dropped the bombshell in a recent update on its website.
According to Cleveland Clinic, mass mortality is expected to surge due to a ticking time bomb of myocarditis among the Covid-vaccinated.

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle or myocardium.

This inflammation weakens your heart muscle, making it harder for your heart to pump.

Myocarditis can cause strokes, blood clots, cardiac arrest, and ultimately sudden death.
Doctors warn that myocarditis acts as a silent killer as it can often be symptomless, with many sufferers not being diagnosed until it’s too late.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), myocarditis is a known side effect of Covid mRNA injections.
As cases of myocarditis have surged since the Covid “vaccines” were rolled out in early 2021, Cleveland Clinic has now updated its website with alarming new information on the disorder.

According to the renowned medical center, 50 percent of people who contracted myocarditis will be dead “five years later.”
“For some people, myocarditis can lead to dilated cardiomyopathy and they may need a heart transplant,” the webpage explains.
“Almost 20% of sudden deaths in young people have a connection to myocarditis.

“The survival rate for myocarditis is 80% one year after having it and 50% five years later.”

The damning update comes as experts around the world continue to raise the alarm about the long-term health impact of the mass vaccination campaign.

As Slay News recently reported, a world-renowned virologist, who served as Bill Gates’s lead vaccine advisor, has warned the public that a “wave” of “unprecedented deaths” is looming for those who received Covid mRNA injections.
Former Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation scientist and vaccine expert Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche has blown the whistle to warn of a coming “wave of morbidity” and “mortality” among the Covid-vaccinated.

Dr. Bossche has warned that population numbers worldwide will soon experience a “completely unprecedented” plunge.
Bossche predicts that “up to 30-40%” of the general public will soon die “in highly vaccinated countries.”
The top scientist raised the alarm during an interview with vaccine expert and investigator Steve Kirsch.
“In some of the highly vaccinated populations … I would not be surprised that we will be dealing with serious decimation of the population, in some populations, maybe up to 30 or 40 percent,” Bossche warned.

Amid health and safety concerns, Attorney General Todd Rokita investigates potential labor trafficking networks in local communities

AG Rokita sends civil investigative demands (CIDs) to officials, employers and non-profits in Evansville, Logansport and Seymour

As residents and elected officeholders continue reporting concerns about the largescale influx of illegal aliens and “legal migrants” into their cities and towns, Attorney General Todd Rokita is launching investigations into this growing issue in Evansville, Logansport and Seymour.

The entities receiving CIDs are the Cass County Health Department, Logansport Community School Corp., Berry Global Group Inc., Tent Partnership for Refugees, God is Good, and Jackson County Industrial Development Corp.

“Illegal immigration caused by "border czar" Kamala Harris' perversion and misapplication of federal law has made every state a border state and imposed unsustainable costs on Logansport and other cities across the nation,” Attorney General Rokita said. “It has also created serious sex and labor trafficking risks in all communities. I’m creatively trying to use every tool in the law to stop the Left's intentional destruction of Indiana."

Attorney General Rokita is investigating coordinated efforts among international and local nonprofit “refugee resettlement” organizations and employers to bring large numbers of migrants to Indiana communities.
The rapid growth of alien populations in certain communities has caused overcrowding in housing facilities as multiple families and sometimes dozens of individuals reportedly share space in structures intended to be single-family dwellings. It also has raised concerns about potential labor trafficking.

Attorney General Rokita’s office is conducting these investigations pursuant to its authority under Indiana’s Deceptive Consumer Sales Act and indecent nuisance statute.
“The influx of these illegal aliens, which are coming from over 150 different countries, have strained our schools and the children of taxpayers are suffering as a result. It has caused unneeded stress on law enforcement, local hospitals and healthcare facilities, and our housing and labor markets,” Attorney General Rokita said.  It also raises serious questions about how these individuals' arrival in Indiana is being facilitated.

Breaking Financial News: Full List of US Banks Closing Amid Nationwide Shutdown – 1,000 Branches Set to Shutter by End of 2024

Breaking News: U.S. banking giants are set to close 1,000 branches by year-end, leaving communities in the lurch! See the full list of bank shutdowns and find out why traditional banking access is rapidly disappearing. Is your local branch next?

Major U.S. banks are on track to close 1,000 branches by the end of 2024. From October 15 to November 5 alone, 65 branches have shut down, sparking nationwide concern. Bank of America and US Bank are leading the pack, with Bank of America closing a staggering 132 branches this year. California, Pennsylvania, and Florida have felt the deepest cuts as the closures continue.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has revealed the unprecedented pace of these shutdowns. For many, this raises questions about accessibility, especially for older adults and small businesses that depend on in-person banking.

Banks Pulling Out Nationwide: Who’s Closing and Where?

The nation’s largest banks are scaling back, citing the rise of digital banking and shifting consumer habits. This shift signals a major impact on communities nationwide. From Bank of America’s exit in Oceanside, CA to Citizens Bank’s closures across Philadelphia, PA, the trend is clear: brick-and-mortar banking is vanishing fast.

Here’s a look at some of the major closures:

Bank of America: Oceanside, CA; Fort Myers, FL; Nashville, TN
Citizens Bank: Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA
US Bank: San Francisco, CA; Cobden, IL; Blair, NE
Wells Fargo: Pasadena, CA; Dallas, TX; Hickory, NC
As the closures spread coast-to-coast, communities lose access to essential banking services, while banks invest more in digital platforms. This digital shift raises accessibility concerns for customers less inclined to online banking.

The Future of American Banking:

As banks close physical locations at record rates, experts warn that the last U.S. branch could close by 2041 if this trend continues. The closure wave represents a strategic focus on online and mobile banking, leaving communities without in-person options. With traditional branches disappearing, millions may find themselves shut out from basic banking services, sparking debate over the future of financial accessibility.

Stay tuned as we track more bank closures and their impact on communities across the country.

INDIANA NEWS;

Chuck Schumer just confirmed another lifelong federal judge with a vote of 50-48. Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Braun didn't show up to block the confirmation by making it 50-50.

Kamala is currently in Hawaii, so she couldn't have cast the tie-breaking vote.

Senator JD Vance is our VP-elect and still took time out of his busy schedule to show up & vote. Where were Ted Cruz and Mike Braun? We could've stopped this nomination or, at the very least, slowed down Schumer. If Republicans were the ones speedrunning confirmations like Schumer, every Democrat Senator would be in town.

Well well look here: posted article I. The NW times

Wanted to share.  Have a great day!

Two Northwest Indiana state senators will be at the center of debates on two major issues during the 2025 General Assembly.
Senate President Rod Bray, R-Martinsville, has reappointed state Sen. Ed Charbonneau, R-Valparaiso, to lead the Senate Committee on Health and Provider Services, and state Sen. Rick Niemeyer, R-Lowell, to head the Senate Committee on Environmental Affairs.
As committee chairmen, they'll decide which proposed new laws are considered by their committees and have a significant role in determining which measures advance to the full Senate for further legislative action.

Health and environmental policy are poised to be a frequent topic of discussion at the Statehouse during the four-month legislative session that begins in January since Republican Gov.-elect Mike Braun is seeking to reduce the cost of health care and cut environmental regulations.

Bray said he's confident the two Region lawmakers leading those committees will make meaningful contributions to those discussions.
"The General Assembly handles legislation that affects every person throughout the state, so it's important for our committees to thoroughly discuss and carefully consider each bill before it is brought before the full Senate," Bray said.

Charbonneau, a former Methodist Hospital president, has led the Senate's health committee since 2017. Last year, he helped push through Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb's $225 million Health First Indiana initiative to bolster local public health services.

Niemeyer became the Senate's environmental committee chairman in 2023 following years of work on state and local wastewater and agricultural issues. He's served 10 years in the Senate after spending two years in the House.
As A U.S. Citizen, You Have the Power to Implement No Trespassing Against Any Government Branch or Agency

Preface
With FEMA bullying those impacted by the devastation of both hurricanes Helene and Milton, we became painfully aware that many were not aware of the power of Trespass.

The power of Trespass first came up in the early COVID years (2020-2021) when all levels of government violated everyone’s freedom and liberties “for the greater good” - a phrase found in every pillar document of both Socialism and Communism (this is no surprise as once you understand when a country embraces Socialism, communism is awaiting an entrance shortly thereafter).

Everyone knows our Constitution starts with, “We the People”
Our education system has schooled many to overlook the power of those 3 words as well as the importance of them being placed as the first 3 words of our Constitution.

However, some have been educated on the fact that our Constitution lists exactly what a government can do and that the balance of the powers of our Constitution belongs to the people.

In other words, the people should never be complacent nor passive about any government - local, state, or federal - or their agencies, especially when they are bullying the people.
