This is one of the "kids-for-cash" judges, Mark Ciavarella Jr.
Ciavarella is the former President Judge of the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. In August 2011, he was sentenced to 28 years in federal prison.
"Ciavarella ordered children as young as 8 to detention, many of them first-time offenders convicted of petty theft and other minor crimes. The judge often ordered youths he had found delinquent to be immediately shackled, handcuffed and taken away without giving them a chance to say goodbye to their families."
No surprise here --> Ciavarella is a Democrat.

🔹Authorities have arrested 28 members/associates of the South LA-based Eastside Playboys street gang on federal racketeering, narcotics and firearms charges.
🔹The arrests stem from 6 indictments, one of which alleges a racketeering scheme and includes allegations of narcotics, weapons trafficking, and extortion of local businesses.
🔹One of the indictments outlines the structure of the gang, its allegiance to the Mexican Mafia prison gang, and how they make money through the sale of narcotics and firearms.
🔹During this investigation, authorities seized from the Playboys approx. 47 firearms, 199 kilos of methamphetamine, 13.6 kilos of fentanyl, 27 kilos of cocaine, 7.6 kilos of heroin, 283 kilos of marijuana, and $140K in cash.

The United States will not oppose the use of Western weapons by Ukraine to strike at Crimea.
A senior official in the Biden administration told Politico:
“We do not select targets and everything we provide is for self-defense. Any goal that Ukraine decides to pursue on its soil is, by definition, self-defense.”
The source also stressed that the “United States considers Crimea to be Ukrainian territory. Therefore, Ukraine has the right to independently make decisions regarding its own territories.”
