Famed hacker blows whistle on Twitter, claims app is risk to national security

Zatko accused Twitter of failing to upgrade its server infrastructure, most of which he says is out of date — thus leaving it vulnerable to severe breaches.

Zatko also accused Twitter of allowing low- and mid-level workers access to the company’s most sensitive controls — potentially making the firm vulnerable to spying and sabotage from hostile foreign actors.

Zatko alleges that Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal discouraged him from providing an accurate account of the website’s cybersecurity lapses in his reports to the board of directors.

Zatko also appears to back Elon Musk’s claim that the company is not making adequate efforts to crack down on the proliferation of automated “bot” and spam accounts.

“Twitter executives have little or no personal incentive to accurately ‘detect’ or measure the prevalence of spam bots,” read the complaint.

“Senior management had no appetite to properly measure the prevalence of bot accounts… they were concerned that if accurate measurements ever became public, it would harm the image and valuation of the company.”

Various social media accounts (analysts, aggregators, OSINT, commentators) who tend to spread Ukrainian Government statements are still pushing the “upcoming Kherson offensive”

Look at the map. Look at the distance between Nikolaev and Kherson. Look at the landscape. There’s a 50+ kilometre open and empty space between Nikolaev and Kherson.

There’s no strategic way to do this. Even if Ukraine magically came up with a force of 200,000 men, it would take around 4 hours to cross the open 50+ KM stretch with heavy hardware and infantry.

This is not the DNR or LPR they want to take on, this is a country with space assets, satellites, drones and radars on the ground and in the sky. (Not to minimize the power and effort of the DNR. This is simply an asset game)

The Ukrainian Armed Forces don’t exist anymore as a professional force. This is not information from Russia, this is information from Ukrainian front lines, Ukrainian servicemen themselves in western media reports — MONTHS ago.

The Ukrainian Army now consists of back bench forces. Groups put together over the course of hours and then sent into the meat-grinder.

Sure, special forces exist, there are remnants of what once was the Ukrainian professional army. Those remnants are being used to piece up these “back bench” forces which are now fighting the war for Kiev.

The probability of a “Kherson offensive” is very, very slim & highly unlikely.
