I already knew the felony most Jan 6th defendants were being charged with (Interfering with a congressional proceeding) had no application in how it was being used. But I didn't realize how egregious it was until I watched this Julie Kelly interview with Glenn Greenwald.

That statute was passed as part of Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX). Those are the accounting regulations that were passed in the wake of the Enron and Arthur Andersen scandals. That's what I deal with as the main part of my job as a CPA ... complying with that act. When it was signed into law, George W. Bush specifically said it wasn't to be interrupted to apply to political protesters like "Code Pink". It was only meant to go after people who do things like shred documents and thereby obstruct congressional inquires.

So to be clear ... Jan 6th defendants are not only being charged, but convicted by DC juries of accounting violations.

A glorious day for mankind. Elon begins the process of tearing down the covert mind-control apparatus that was Twitter.

This is HOW you get rid of the bot farms and the deceptively driven artificial narrative conversations.

A detail related to buying a company, and it's liabilities.

If you tell your lawyer you plan to buy a company, the first thing your lawyer will try to make you do is structure it as an "asset deal", where you buy all the assets, but not the legal entity itself. This is because when you buy the entire entity, you can't escape also owning all known and unknown legal liabilities. Any skeletons in the closet? Yeah, you *probably just bought those too.

One of the things that has to happen for this Twitter deal to go all the way to close is for Twitter execs & lawyers to fully disclose all known legal risks, major skeletons in the closet, and anything that might not be a liability today but which they can reasonably foresee may become a liability.

With all the shady things Twitter has done, and its rumored secret usage of black ops data centers run by elements of the US government... that could all get real messy. Twitter might have secret cost saving "deals" with shadow/CIA controlled hosting companies who quietly announce they are "going out of business", and then Twitter current financial model won't be able to afford paying the real costs of their infrastructure. Such a "material change" in its operating costs during the middle of an acquisition could be enough to terminate the deal, and Twitter ends up dying.

The small possibility that Twitter still goes up in flames might not be over yet. Accepting Elon's deal might be a way for the Board to avoid being sued out of existence by shareholders, while other factors still flare up to stop Elon from taking possession and running it as people are expecting.

Subpoenas Finally Issued for Evidence in Georgia Ballot Trafficking Case Ahead of 2,000 Mules Premier | Just the News

Subpoenas have finally formally been issued for evidence in the True the Vote Georgia ballot trafficking case one month after the Georgia State Elections Board approved the investigation.

Delivered late last week, the subpoenas ask True the Vote and its researchers to turn over the identities of the 242 ballot harvesters, the John Doe whistleblower who was paid $10 per ballot, and suspected funding arms for the 2020 ballot trafficking operation, according to documents obtained by Just the News under a state open records request.

Signed by acting State Elections Board chairman Matt Mashburn, the subpoenas seek “The identity and contact information of the ‘several individuals regarding personal knowledge, methods, and organizations involved in ballot trafficking in Georgia’ referenced in the Complaint and any recordings, trannoscripts, summaries, testimony, statements, witness interviews, notes or other documents describing what those individuals said.”

In addition to requesting all evidence relating to the John Doe whistleblower and his mother, the subpoenas also ask for the identities of the "network of non-governmental organizations that worked together to facilitate a ballot trafficking scheme in Georgia" as well as details about the “ten hubs” in Atlanta that allegedly coordinated the harvesting operation.

Strangely, the subpoenas also request “any receipts, invoices, bills, or other documents evidencing any medical payments” True the Vote made for any of the Georgia ballot mules.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told Just the News in a January interview that he believes the probe could lead to criminal charges and identify the funding streams for the operation. Raffensperger is now pushing for a nationwide ban on ballot harvesting.
