🔹In June 2020, Smith applied for & received $212,500 in a forgivable PPP loan on behalf of A Star For I, Inc., a company he owned. Smith claimed he employed 30 people & spent about $85,000 each month on payroll. IN FACT, Smith's company had ZERO employees & NO expenses.
🔹If convicted, Smith faces up to 30 years in federal prison & a fine of up to $1 million.
🔹In 2018 Smith was an Andrew Gillum campaign staffer. A Project Veritas video showed Smith calling Florida a “cracker state” & telling a journalist about the need to hide the truth from voters.
