A 15-year-old girl attending a Dallas Mavericks game with her dad was kidnapped and then sex trafficked. She was brought to a hotel over 200 miles away where she was repeatedly raped. The parents claim the police did nothing. They had to get help from a non-profit anti-trafficking organization which found nude photos of her on a trafficking site. The girl was rescued due to the efforts of the organization, and 8 people have been arrested including women. This is a sober reminder that trafficking can happen anywhere and at anytime. Unfortunately, law enforcement doesn’t always take these cases seriously.
