So if I borrowed $2M from someone and it’s due to be paid back in a year but during that year the entity I borrowed it from cuts my internet service off so I can’t make an electronic payment, flattens my tires so I can’t drive to my bank and burns up my checkbook so I can mail in a payment…how does that hurt me? I still have the $2m. The bank still is minus $2m. How exactly am I harmed? The economic good I’ve gained from the $2m is still habbening. Oh, I can’t borrow more money bc I “defaulted”.
