Big Pharma spent over $90mm the same year on lobbying.
Which do you think has more (purchased) influence on (corrupt) politicians?
Why do lefties only mention the power of the gun lobby when mass shootings occur (unless, of course, they occur in decades-long Democrat controlled cities like Chicago, Detroit, St Louis, or Baltimore ((in which case they are not mentioned at all))?
Is the +$90mm spent on lobbying and the hundreds of millions spent on media ads by Big Pharma the reason that nobody will mention that every school shooter was on SSRIs?
Is Kamela's "your children belong to the community" the reason they'll never mention that every school shooter grew up without their dad as well?

To nail Joffe, Durham needed to prove first that Joffe was using Sussmann as a frontman to hide Joffe's involvement in the Alfa Bank hoax.
This is the main purpose of the Susmmann trial - to establish that Joffe was the quarterback of the private spying network that assembled the Alfa Bank hoax using data stolen by private contractors off of federal databases.
Having helped build the Alfa Bank hoax, it was very important to Joffe that fake hoax be fed to both the FBI and the CIA without his name ever being attached to it.
That's what Sussmann's role was. To be Joffe's cover.
The prosecution proved yet again how determined Joffe was to get the Alfa Bank hoax to the FBI while leaving his name out of it when former FBI agent Tom Grasso admitted on the stand that Joffe gave him the Alfa Bank white papers and asked him to pass it on while not telling anybody it had come from Joffe.
