Mastercard CEO: SWIFT Payment System May Be Replaced By CBDCs In Five Years

There has been a long list of revelations coming out of the recent World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, but one issue that might have gone under the media radar involves comments by Mastercard CEO Michael Miebach during a discussion on the future of cross-border payments between nations.

Miebach, participating in a panel on Central Bank Digital Currencies at the WEF and hosted by the Global Blockchain Business Council, was one of the few participants that was willing to suggest that the SWIFT system, long dominated by western interests, might be made obsolete along with the proliferation of digital currencies among central banks.

Initially dismissed as “conspiracy theory” only a few years ago by the media, whispers of CBDCs have suddenly gone mainstream and blockchain technologies took center stage at Davos in 2022. The Federal Reserve has even started active public discussions assessing the case for retail digital currency products.

Few at Davos were willing to admit to the outcome that Mastercard's CEO suggested, arguing that SWIFT would continue its prevalence for decades. Yet, almost every major central bank in the world is now pursuing a digital currency program, and the IMF has been exceedingly vocal about the need for a global digital currency system in the near future to provide “stability” in the face of national inflationary crisis events.

We conducted 58 semi-structured interviews with adolescent members of six gangs. Data were analyzed using thematic content analysis and constant comparative method in MAXQDA. Sexual risk behaviors within gangs are upheld and reinforced through unspoken norms and expectations. These high-risk sexual practices increase group cohesion and reinforce gender norms and power differences. Despite the prevalence of such practices, many gang members felt regret and remorse over their participation but noted it was just part of “the life.” Our findings highlight the need for interventions to address the norms of the gang that reinforce sexual risk behavior.

If you want to understand the depth of corruption of DC, look no further than Sussman. A man who put IN WRITING one thing (a lie), it’s proven based on his own billing records the exact opposite of what he wrote and a jury of his peers (DC swamp) finds him not guilty while staring at his billing record and his text. He wrote both. One says he’s billing Hillary for his hour spent in a meeting with FBI and the text for the meeting says he has no client (except the one he’s currently billing). For anyone to acquit someone while staring at the evidence requires a complete disregard for truth. In the Air Force we used to say to get rid of the bureaucracy you have to move an organization 1,000s of miles and hire new ppl; then a few years later move it again so anyone (civilians) who moved the first time won’t again. We (active duty military) moved every few years but the civilians generally did not and they are the entrenched bureaucrats that can stare at the truth, know it’s the truth and completely disregard it to ensure their survival over truth and America for that matter.
