Mexico, Happening Now: Another caravan moving north towards the U.S.
The organizer, Luis Villagran says there are 15,000 people, mostly Venezuelan. He says 100+ are pregnant, 3,000 are kids. This caravan of approximately 15,000 departed from Tapachula, Chiapas. The caravan I was with in October made it about 100 miles in two weeks. One person from that caravan took 5 months to walk 1,350 miles to the U.S. I ran into him in Del Rio.
