🚨Louisiana Pastor Indicted on Charges of Rape, Sexual Battery of Young Girl Over 3-Year Period

🔹Dolhman Brown Sr., 59, of Harvey, has been charged with first-degree rape of a victim under 13 & sexual battery of a victim under the age of 13.
🔹Authorities arrested Brown in Sept. 2021, after an investigation into allegations that he had inappropriate contact with a girl between 2016 & 2019.
🔹Brown, who formerly served as the pastor of a church in Gretna for 17 years, was known to the victim's family.
🔹The victim revealed the abuse to a relative in 2020. But they didn't believe her after Brown denied the allegations. In June 2021, the girl told a doctor about the abuse. The medical staff contacted the Sheriff's Office.
🔹After his initial arrest, Brown was released on a $350K bond. He was rearrested Monday. The court increased his bond to $600K.

FBI Warns Businesses of Fraud Scheme Operating in 8 States
The FBI Charlotte Division is warning businesses about a fraud scheme with victims in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
In the scheme, fraudsters use stolen credit card numbers to make large purchases over the telephone. So far in 2022, more than 100 businesses have been targeted, including tire stores, furniture stores, lumber companies, trailer businesses, and appliance stores. Once a purchase was made over the phone, items are picked up by drivers and taken to other states for resale. In many cases, drivers were hired through online job sites and paid using third party cash applications and were not aware the items were purchased illegally. Days later, the victim businesses learned the sales were fraudulent.
