🚨Illinois: Childrens Gymnastics Coach Charged with Child Pornography & Sexual Abuse Charges🚨

🔹Wyatt Kopka, 30, an instructor at a gymnastics business in Downers Grove, has been charged with child pornography-related crimes & aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
🔹Kopka was arrested on May 10 on 5 counts of possession of child pornography. Further investigation led to additional charges. Kopka is now facing 11 felony counts of possession, manufacturing or producing child pornography.
🔹Kopka has coached gymnastics for children between the ages of 2 and 17, for about 10 years. The name of the gymnastics business has not been released.
🔹If convicted, Kopka could be sentenced to 47 to 120 years in prison. He is being held on $600,000 bail.

🚨California Man Facing Federal Charges in Maryland for Attempted Murder of a U.S. Judge🚨

🔹A criminal complaint was filed today charging Nicholas John Roske, 26, of Simi Valley, California, for federal charges of attempted murder of a Supreme Court Justice.
🔹On June 8, 2022, at 1:05 a.m., two U.S. Deputy Marshals saw a man dressed in black clothing, carrying a backpack & a suitcase, get out of a cab that stopped in front of Justice Brett Kavanaugh's home. The man looked at the Marshals, who were standing next to their parked vehicle, & then turned to walk down the street.
🔹Shortly thereafter, 911 received a call from Nicholas John Roske, who allegedly informed the call taker that he was having suicidal thoughts & had a firearm in his suitcase. Roske also allegedly stated that he traveled from California to Maryland to kill Justice Kavanaugh. Montgomery County Police officers were dispatched to the location where they encountered Roske, who was still on the phone with 911. Roske was taken into custody & law enforcement officers seized his backpack & suitcase.
🔹A search of the suitcase & backpack revealed a black tactical chest rig and tactical knife, a pistol with two magazines & ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch, crow bar, pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots with padding on the outside of the soles, & other items.
🔹Roske was transported to the police department, after being advised of his constitutional rights, Roske allegedly told detectives that he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme Court draft decision regarding the right to abortion as well as the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
🔹If convicted, Roske faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison for attempted murder of a United States Judge.
