🇺🇸 Both groups of KC-135Rs have dispersed and are heading back towards Altus AFB.
On takeoff, aircraft use a large amount of fuel. The tankers may have been topping off the fuel on the B-2s so that they can make the flight to Diego Garcia.
An added benefit of this would be that the B-2s could “fly dark,” meaning they wouldn’t show up on radar.

🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 Pure speculation but it appears that the B-2s heading to Guam were the perfect distraction for an actual strike operation against Iran. I wonder what aircraft and munitions were used for the strikes, likely the B-52s from Diego Garcia or possibly additional B-2s.
