Dear friends and colleagues,
We have been thinking of starting a webinar group in order to discuss our research interest amongst each other, with an eye to invite high quality international faculty to give webinars later on. Our main goal is two-fold:
1) To provide a platform to discuss common issues beyond just a formal talk, which has become very prevalent in recent months.
2) To provide a platform in order for us to get to know each other better and become familiar with issues of research interest in complex systems within Iran.
I have been chosen by my colleagues to give the first talk in this series as a trial version. I will talk about "Critical Brain Hypothesis" for about half an hour to be followed by another 30 minutes of discussion.
The talk will be this Tuesday at 4:00 pm, at the following link.
https://join.skype.com/WeuFEgCrH55J
Please feel free to share the link with anybody who you may think might be interested. For now, we are keeping our group limited to faculty and post-docs actively engaged in research in complex systems.
Please feel free to provide suggestions and/or criticism.
I look forward to seeing you this Tuesday.
Regards,
Afshin Montakhab
