An unusual escape took place in Poland, quickly making headlines in the media and amusing internet users. A cow being transported to a slaughterhouse managed to escape during transport. Instead of running into nearby fields, the animal chose a surprising direction – water.

According to reports, the cow swam to a small island near the shore. There, it found safe shelter: grass to eat, peace, and a natural "barrier" in the form of water, which effectively hindered its recapture. Efforts to locate it and bring it back to land continued for several days.
