THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR

Psalm 37 says to abstain from wrath and abandon anger.
Can a WARRIOR do this? A warrior MUST do this.
Doing the job of a warrior requires CALM and FOCUS.
Serious force is being applied - the only proper attitude
is FOCUSED DETERMINATION.
Anger and hatred disturb focus and destroy judgment.
To do the job, a warrior must be PEACEFUL at heart.

BTW being “spiritual” doesn’t mean being a PACIFIST WEAKLING. The beloved passage about Elijah meeting God occurred immediately after Elijah personally slaughtered 450 prophets of Baal, and immediately before he recruits new kings to mount armies.

Recently for instance Trump called for death penalty for the MOST EVIL people in our world. We MUST protect innocent victims by eliminating predators. In our traditions, the condemned are ALWAYS given an opportunity to repent and ask for God’s forgiveness before their BODY is executed.

Remember, when your BODY is eliminated, NOBODY DIES. Final death only occurs at the SOUL level.
