محصول پذیرفتنی یا MVP یک «طرز فکر» است که می‌تواند در بسیاری از حوزه‌ها و فعالیت‌ها به کمک ما بیاید.

حرف MVP این است که «مشتری یا مخاطب خود را با یک نمونه اجرایی از محصول یا خدمت خود زودتر درگیر کنید.»

میزان سادگی یا پیچیدگی MVP را شما با توجه به هدف تعیین می‌کنید.

✅ گاهی ممکن است کسب و کار خود را در مقیاسی بسیار کوچک‌تر تست کنید.
✅ گاهی می‌توانید محصول خود را با فیچر‌ها (Features) و امکانات کمتر ارائه کنید.
✅ گاهی هم می‌توانید صرفاً شماتیکی از محصول را عرضه و ارائه کنید.

Imagine being able to type out an email just by thinking. Or giving a "voice" to people without the ability to speak. That technology is one step closer as researchers in California have shown they can translate brain activity into complete sentences with 97% accuracy.

Previously the best results were only 70% intelligible, so this is a major leap ahead. The researchers decided to mimic machine translation which translates an entire sentence at once, and the results were impressive.

So far, the system can only decode 30-50 specific sentences that use a limited vocabulary, and the subjects must have electrodes implanted in their brains, so there is still a long way to go before the technology is available for public use.

The composition of the underwater solar cells would be different, but their general design would be much the same. They would obviously have to be waterproof.

چهار اصطلاح پر کاربرد برای جستجو:

✅ ‌‏Search Concept: مفهومی است که در ذهن شماست و علاقه‌مند هستید درباره‌اش اطلاعات بیشتری به دست بیاورید.

✅‏Search Term: بعد از اینکه مفهوم مورد جستجو خود را پیدا کردیم، به فرض مثال توسعه فردی، حال باید به دنبال این باشیم که با جستجوی چه عبارت‌هایی می‌توانید به این مفهوم نزدیک‌تر شوید؟ این‌جاست که به Search Term یا عبارت جستجو می‌رسیم.

✅‏Search Query: Search Query دقیقاً متنی است که در باکس جستجوی گوگل (یا هر موتور جستجوی دیگر) تایپ می‌کنید. مثلاً ممکن است چنین چیز‌هایی را تایپ کنید:

Tracking Surgical Tools

Although systems exist to track surgical sponges, tracking a surgeon's instruments is still being done manually, which is painfully slow and prone to error.

Surgeons can use up to 250 different tools during an operation to perform tasks such as cutting, grasping, cauterizing, suturing and suctioning.

A new system of RFID tracking has now been developed that can endure the high temperatures used to sterilize instruments as well as not altering the shape and form of familiar tools.

A vapor deposition process is used to deposit a dielectric material directly onto the tool's metal surface, then a conductive antenna is patterned, and the RFID chip is attached, followed by a biocompatible sealant.

A visual display in the operating room catalogs the tools brought into the theatre and the tool count is confirmed when the tools leave the room, making sure none are left inside a patient.

Innovative Patch Repairs Damaged Hearts

Heart tissue damaged by heart attached doesn't heal very well, the electrical signaling can be hindered and the pumping action weakened.

Scientists at Trinity College Dublin have developed an inventive patch that mimics the electrical conductivity of heart tissue able to function even as the heart is moving.

The Trinity team was able to collaborate with a company called Spraybase to alter polyester-based thermoplastic polymers using melt electrowriting techniques in order to create the patches that mimic the elastic nature of heart tissue.

AI Uncovers Powerful New Antibiotic

A deep learning algorithm has discovered a drug that kills off a broad spectrum of deadly bacteria in the lab, including antibiotic-resistant strains. Computer-simulated tests show promise in eight other drugs.

To develop the algorithm researchers gave it a molecule and asked it 'Is it antibacterial?' and let the program learn on its own which molecular features are important.

The algorithm used a database of more than 1,000 FDA-approved drugs and natural compounds with well-known antibiotic or non-antibiotic properties and was tasked with finding antibiotics that are as chemically distant as possible from known antibiotics in order to eliminate strains that may prove ineffective.

The drug called halicin was discovered which had originally been developed as an anti-diabetes drug and had no obvious similarities to existing antibiotics.

تفاوت مشکل و مسئله چیست؟

مشکل یک قضاوتِ حسی است؛ این‌که یک جای کار می‌لنگد و چیزی در جایی آن‌چنان‌که باید باشد نیست (اما چه چیزی؟ در کجا؟ چرا؟ این‌ها را نمی‌دانیم).

مشکل می‌تواند یک نارضایتی، ناراحتی، نگرانی و یک وضعیت نامطلوب باشد؛ اما آن‌قدر مبهم که نمی‌توان ‌آن را توضیح داد و تشریح کرد.

وقتی حس می‌کنیم مشکلی وجود دارد، معمولاً معتقدیم که باید در آینده کاری برای رفع آن مشکل انجام دهیم. اما چه کاری؟ نمی‌دانیم. چون هنوز حتی در تعریف و توصیف وضعیت موجود، ضعف داریم.

مشکل در مقایسه با مسئله، بسیار مبهم‌تر است. مسئله شفاف‌تر است و در آن، وضعیت فعلی و احتمالاً وضعیت مطلوب، تا حد خوبی مشخص شده است. آن‌چه نمی‌دانیم، روش و اقدام‌های مناسب برای حرکت از وضعیت فعلی به وضعیت مطلوب است.

تفاوت هیجان و احساس چیست؟

هیجان، شامل پاسخ‌هایی است که در درونی‌ترین و قدیمی‌ترین بخشِ مغز و بدن ما کدگذاری شده و خود را در قالب اثرات فیزیولوژیک مستقیم نشان می‌دهد.

احساس، زمانی معنا پیدا می‌کند که قسمت‌های جدیدتر مغز انسان (همان‌ چیزی که معمولاً به نام Cognition یا ذهن می‌شناسیم)، درک و تفسیر خود را به رویدادهای محیطی می‌افزایند و معنای گسترده‌تری به آن‌ها می‌دهند.
به زبان ساده (و کمی غیر دقیق) می‌توانیم بگوییم احساس یعنی پاسخ‌های ساده‌‌ و سریع فیزیولوژیک به‌علاوه‌ی تحلیل‌های پیچیده و کندتر مغز.

Edible Vaccines don't need Refrigeration

Vaccines need to be kept cool to be effective which is a challenge in remote or developing areas, but scientists have discovered a new way to preserve the live elements in a lightweight film that doesn't need refrigeration.

After more than 450 attempts, the team landed on a recipe enabling the virus to be loaded into a candy-like material with protective layers that can be peeled off when it's time to use them.

They have developed a vaccine for influenza at a proof-of-concept level, and believe it could be used to deliver a vaccine for COVID-19 when it is ready to distribute.

As well as being low-cost, the product is one-thousandth the size of traditional vaccine vials and can be taken orally, avoiding the millions of syringes, vials and packaging waste currently used in traditional vaccine methodology.
