تفاوت مشکل و مسئله چیست؟

مشکل یک قضاوتِ حسی است؛ این‌که یک جای کار می‌لنگد و چیزی در جایی آن‌چنان‌که باید باشد نیست (اما چه چیزی؟ در کجا؟ چرا؟ این‌ها را نمی‌دانیم).

مشکل می‌تواند یک نارضایتی، ناراحتی، نگرانی و یک وضعیت نامطلوب باشد؛ اما آن‌قدر مبهم که نمی‌توان ‌آن را توضیح داد و تشریح کرد.

وقتی حس می‌کنیم مشکلی وجود دارد، معمولاً معتقدیم که باید در آینده کاری برای رفع آن مشکل انجام دهیم. اما چه کاری؟ نمی‌دانیم. چون هنوز حتی در تعریف و توصیف وضعیت موجود، ضعف داریم.

مشکل در مقایسه با مسئله، بسیار مبهم‌تر است. مسئله شفاف‌تر است و در آن، وضعیت فعلی و احتمالاً وضعیت مطلوب، تا حد خوبی مشخص شده است. آن‌چه نمی‌دانیم، روش و اقدام‌های مناسب برای حرکت از وضعیت فعلی به وضعیت مطلوب است.

تفاوت هیجان و احساس چیست؟

هیجان، شامل پاسخ‌هایی است که در درونی‌ترین و قدیمی‌ترین بخشِ مغز و بدن ما کدگذاری شده و خود را در قالب اثرات فیزیولوژیک مستقیم نشان می‌دهد.

احساس، زمانی معنا پیدا می‌کند که قسمت‌های جدیدتر مغز انسان (همان‌ چیزی که معمولاً به نام Cognition یا ذهن می‌شناسیم)، درک و تفسیر خود را به رویدادهای محیطی می‌افزایند و معنای گسترده‌تری به آن‌ها می‌دهند.
به زبان ساده (و کمی غیر دقیق) می‌توانیم بگوییم احساس یعنی پاسخ‌های ساده‌‌ و سریع فیزیولوژیک به‌علاوه‌ی تحلیل‌های پیچیده و کندتر مغز.

هیجان و احساس، همواره روی یکدیگر تأثیر می‌گذارند.

Edible Vaccines don't need Refrigeration

Vaccines need to be kept cool to be effective which is a challenge in remote or developing areas, but scientists have discovered a new way to preserve the live elements in a lightweight film that doesn't need refrigeration.

After more than 450 attempts, the team landed on a recipe enabling the virus to be loaded into a candy-like material with protective layers that can be peeled off when it's time to use them.

They have developed a vaccine for influenza at a proof-of-concept level, and believe it could be used to deliver a vaccine for COVID-19 when it is ready to distribute.

As well as being low-cost, the product is one-thousandth the size of traditional vaccine vials and can be taken orally, avoiding the millions of syringes, vials and packaging waste currently used in traditional vaccine methodology.

Magnetic Brain Implants

Engineers at Rice University have designed a neural implant called MagNI that can be powered and programmed using an external magnetic field.

Current implants are controlled using wires, which can become problematic inside the brain.

The MagNI uses magnetoelectric transducers to convert a rapidly changing magnetic field into electric current, which can power a device strapped to the outside of the body which can be used to power the implant, making it the first time a magnetic field can be used to power and also program an implant.

Patch Automatically Releases Insulin

To free diabetics from cumbersome wearable technologies, researchers have created an electronics-free wearable patch that automatically releases insulin based on the wearer's rising glucose levels.

The stick-on patch is about the size of a quarter and contains dozens of tiny needles loaded with insulin that are sensitive to glucose. The needles release insulin when sugar levels rise, and decrease insulin release when glucose levels come down.

Diabetics are freed from the constant need to check their blood sugar and then inject insulin. In tests, the patches were able to control glucose levels for about 20 hours.

Organs-on-Chips Promise to Reduce Testing Time for New Drugs


Researchers have adapted computer microchip manufacturing methods to create microfluidic culture devices that mimic the functions of living human organs, including lung, kidney, skin, and bone.

These microdevices offer an alternative to testing drugs on animals and could drastically reduce the $2 billion needed to complete clinical trials on a single compound.

Each 'Organ Chip' is made up of a clear flexible polymer about the size of a memory stick and contains hollow two parallel channels that are lined respectively with living human organ-specific cells and vascular endothelial cells representing a blood vessel. Forces, such as breathing motions, are then applied to mimic living organs.

ZPD Suction Cups Grip With Spinning Water

A new suction cup design relies on spinning water to grasp and climb rough and uneven surfaces.

While most suction cups can only secure to smooth surfaces, the water-based system designed by a team at Zhejiang University relies on zero-pressure difference (ZPD) technology to adhere to a wide range of surfaces. This technology improves the suction power of the system by incorporating a ring of water rotating at high speeds along the edges of the cups. This creates a powerful vacuum in the center of the cup without causing a large pressure differential on the edges, preventing leakage.

Rollable Thin Film is Conductive and Transparent

A new ultra-thin, flexible material can be printed like a newspaper to create touchscreens that can be rolled into a tube.

The material was developed by a team led by researchers from RMIT, who used liquid metal chemistry to shrink a common thin film found in touchscreens from 3D to 2D. This liquid metal printing approach involves heating an indium-tin alloy to a liquid that can be rolled over a surface to create nano-thin sheets of indium tin oxide that are flexible, conductive and transparent. According to the team, the process is affordable and does not require specialized equipment, and could also improve smartphone displays and battery life.

Mojo Vision AR Lens

Hailed as the world’s first, the smart contact lens from Mojo Vision features a built-in display that provides timely information without interrupting eye contact.

Still in the prototype phase, the Mojo Lens is embedded in a hard scleral lens and features a 14,000 ppi display along with an image sensor, radio and motion sensor that will be included in the final version. A wearable unit holds the battery for the lens as well as the computing components, though the team is working towards a smartphone-based solution. The company believes the first application for the lens could be for users with low vision, who can take advantage of the lens’s real-time edge detection that highlights shapes in dim light.

دنیل گلمن برای خودآگاهی سه مولفه تعریف می‌کند:

✅ خودآگاهی هیجانی: به این معناست که بتوانیم احساسات و هیجانات خود را به درستی تشخیص داده و تحلیل کنیم.

✅ توانایی خود ارزیابی دقیق: به این معناست که بتوانیم توانمندی‌ها، نقاط قوت و منابع درونی در دسترس خود را بشناسیم و از سوی دیگر، ضعف‌ها و محدودیت‌های خود را نیز بپذیریم و درک کنیم.
