Watchful And On Guard
Lions are attracted to blood, and that comes from wounded places. We must not let our wounds continue to bleed by ignoring the pain and covering them superficially. Part of being alert and vigilant means that we bring our wounds to our Father for healing. He will bind them up and heal us through the power of His Holy Spirit. Let’s be vigilant even with the wounds that appear small and nonthreatening. When we catch them early, we can maintain our perspective and reasoning for the night’s watch.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
