Firm In Freedom
Once we are free, it’s a challenge to believe we are truly free—forever. Our culture and the bondage of religion will work their hardest to enslave us again. They want us to wear again the “yoke of slavery”—letting ourselves be dragged down by the that heavy, nagging weight that ties us to shame and the sins that once enslaved us.
So stand strong in your freedom! Stand against any guilt and shame that would try to lure you into a depression of defeat or back to a lifestyle of sin. Stand against every shadow of past shame that challenges your right to say no to fallen patterns. You are freed from your past and your future is bright and free!
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
