Dear Community

In the interest of full transparency and in an effort to resolve all issues that a few community members have raised surrounding the timing of payments by the YFDAI LP farming pools, (the 72 hour, 30 day, 60 day and 90 day contracts) We have decided to modify and reprogram the bot to take the snapshot for the rewards for all 4 pools once every 24 hours. So instead of receiving rewards after 72 hours or every 7 days, the rewards will be claimable every 24 hours. To avoid potential flashloan attacks the exact timing of the release of the rewards during the 24 hour period will be randomized. Final testing of the bot is being carried out and this will take effect on all pools within 24hrs with all rewards being distributed daily moving forward. The DAI and WETH vaults are not affected by this and the payout period will remain the same for those vaults.

Also people have questioned whether the YFDAI farming contracts are audited or not. You can check on Coingecko farming page and see that they are not audited. The reason they were not audited was because the code is very similar to the staking contract which was audited. The farming contracts have been running for over 2 months now and have been stress tested to verify they are functioning properly. About half of the farming contracts (96 out of 200 listed on Coingecko) are not audited as shown under the audit column on Coingecko. Since we will be shifting to community governance very shortly, if the community wishes to make proposals and vote on auditing the farming contracts after doing a cost benefit analysis of the price to audit 6 contracts (Approximately $60,000) then the communities decision will be implemented.

We would like to thank the users that raised concerns and hopefully with this announcement and the changes to the distribution date we will restore the communities' confidence in YFDAI's farming products.
