🇺🇸 US government has a 74% chance of a shut down according to Kalshi.

The last time there was a government shut down Bitcoin fell -10%.

On December 22, 2018, Bitcoin closed at about USD 4,014.18

On January 25, 2019, Bitcoin closed at about USD 3,599.77

So from ~ $4,014 down to ~ $3,600 — a decline of roughly 10–11 %.

Also if you don't know what a government shut down is:

If they don't agree on where to allocate their budgets and how much ect... they shut the government down till they agree.

Any non essential payments/budgets don't get spent. A lot of people saying mass lay offs if it goes on too long as government funded stuff won't get their funds basically
