JPMorgan has suggested that Strategy could be removed from major MSCI and Nasdaq-100 indexes.

That’s a relatively small share, but if we compare it with the closest comparable niche like traditional sports betting, we see that only around 3–4% of bettors finish the year with an actual profit when using bookmakers.

Of course, the Polymarket numbers may be skewed by insider wallets, but the same note applies to traditional betting as well.

Moreover, the user bases are quite different. Polymarket has roughly 480,000 MAU, while, for example, FanDuel reported about 3.5M MAU users in Q2 2025.

So 1% of losing users on Polymarket corresponds to roughly 4,000 people, while 1% of losing users on FanDuel corresponds to around 33,950 people.
