➠ For the first time, the EU introduces restrictions on cryptocurrency (❗️) platforms through which Russia is trying to circumvent sanctions.

➠ All cryptocurrency transactions (❗️) for Russian residents will be blocked.

➠ The rules for international payment and credit systems have been tightened if they are related to Russia or help it build bypass schemes. Prohibition of the use of the MIR payment system in international settlements.

➠ New Russian banks and financial structures have been added to the sanctions lists.

➠ Restrictions also apply to foreign banks, which help Russia build parallel settlement systems.

➠ It is forbidden to use alternative payment channels created to bypass SWIFT and Western payments.

➠ New measures have been introduced against the so-called «shadow fleet» transporting Russian oil bypassing sanctions (another +118 vessels).

➠ Control over trading companies and intermediaries involved in the supply of oil and oil products has been tightened. Direct sanctions against Rosneft and Gazprom Neft.

➠ Expansion of the list of prohibited imports: chemicals, ores, metals, salts. Sanctions against 45 Russian and foreign companies, including Indian and Chinese organizations.
