3rd Place goes to: Cardiac Messenger: 3D Art
by Ekaterina Monfald, Polina Ivashevskaya, Kirill Nikolaev, Ulyana Mokrova

Set in the dystopian city of Cardiac, built atop the remains of colossal androids submerged in an endless ocean, Cardiac Messenger immerses players in the life of an illegal courier. Tasked with delivering life-saving medicine derived from the androids' radioactive "Blood," couriers navigate the city's treacherous suspended streets, evade gangs and authorities, and battle relentless storms.

This gritty 3D adventure combines low-poly models and hand-painted textures to depict a city where humanity clings to survival amidst decaying technology. The game’s atmospheric visuals, powered by Unreal Engine 5, bring to life perpetual rains, towering android structures, and the fragile hope of survival in a world on the brink🌪️

⚖️ Boxwood: A Reflection on Law and Freedom by Aleksei Riumin

The "Boxwood" installation uses diverse materials like extruded polystyrene, laser levels, and corrugated cardboard to explore the dynamic interplay between humans and law.

Drawing on the boxwood shrub's multiple "states" as a metaphor, the project questions whether laws grant freedom or impose limitations, inviting reflections on secular and spiritual rules, written or unwritten.

Through the spatial mapping of the installation, it mirrors how laws structure our environment, providing a framework for orientation, movement, and understanding — balancing order and liberty in the human experience 👁️
