The most startling developments this past weekend were the increasing violence by proud boys and who their targets are. They showed a willingness to not just attack civilians and counter protesters, but police and churches this weekend too. I heard a lawmaker call them anarchists. They arent anarchists though. They make up groups of ancaps, trump supporters, militia groups, and neo nazi and christofascist organizations. There are antifascist ancaps and militias too, but from what we have seen these groups make up at least a portion of proud boy members. There is no central ideology for them, besides views of capitalism, male supremacy, and opposing human rights, and a willingness to act like a mob to go attack not just counter demonstrators but civilians, churches, and businesses. They are a level 4 accelerationist organization by these standards. They are not just a hate group, but terrorists.

Their whole shtick is that they want to get every conservative person in their ranks so they have pawns to push more extreme ideas. They call themselves accessible things like a drinking club to cover up that they are playing dress up army every weekend and get folks more on board to radicalize them. Being radicalized can be a good or bad thing. I have radicalized views but I believe everyone deserves human rights and autonomy. They have radicalized views that involve breaking the non agression pact and using force on civilians in preservation of capitalism, white and male supremacy, and authority. A terrorist doesnt need a bomb to be a terrorist. But attacking churches that believe in liberation theology. Mob beating people walking down the street. Shooting someone for protesting. Vigilante killings. These are all acts of terror.

If you are going to be out and about this Wednesday keep a few things in mind:
-Affinity groups should have a contact person who is not there who has all of your support contacts.
-Don't get into Signal groups with people you don't know.
-Have medical gear and if you can equipment like tourniquets.
