When I first started doing comms work, it was because paramilitary organizations killed over 1000 people in the nation annually. It was to provide a consolidation of information on an opensource platform. Now some RUST channels are being censored without explanation of what terms of service we broke.

All of our communications are Public. We dont use encrypted radio channels. We dont provide information that would be considered illegal. We only distribute what is legal. Just as you can film a police officer and national guard on live stream, you are legally allowed to disclose their location. Just like you can listen to public data like locations of police and terror attacks from public radio communications, you can legally distribute that data. There is no federal law broken by these communications and only some local/state governments prohibit the use of police radio to commit a crime which we are not doing.

We only are using it to disclose paramilitary mobilization Police, guard, and private militia, and state where their location, numbers, and tactics are so that people across the United States and Globally can stay safe from state and social violence. Only we can protect ourselves. There are more Americans killed by police and militia groups than Americans killed in foreign wars. We have arms races in our neighborhoods with police and RUST is a defense, not a terror attack. Remote Uprising Support Teams are civilian organized, and defend by reporting on mobilized groups actively so you know when to evacuate, shelter in place, or perform your direct action. When civilians are under attack, autonomous activists will always rise up to protect.
