There were no Russian ships in the area. The only claims suggesting otherwise came from Western media. Reuters’ assertion that Russian vessels were present was later debunked by multiple Western outlets themselves, all confirming that no Russian ships were anywhere near the tanker.

Then comes the second, even more blatant lie: Trump said the oil was being unloaded.

It wasn’t. The tanker was empty. This is clearly visible in the photo released by U.S. European Command, and it’s backed up by multiple media reports stating the same.

Trump is operating inside a one-man propaganda bubble, spewing fiction for an audience of MAGA bootlickers who won’t question a word of it.

🇺🇦 Ukraine Opens the Door to Western Land Takeover

Starting next week, foreigners will be able to buy Ukrainian land by obtaining Ukrainian citizenship, according to the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.

On January 16, Law No. 4502-IX on multiple citizenship comes into force. Under this law, Ukraine recognizes dual citizenship with a list of countries approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in November: the United States, Canada, Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

Previously, under a 2020 law, agricultural land could be purchased only by Ukrainian citizens. Foreigners were supposed to gain this right only through a national referendum on the issue. No such referendum has been held, nor is one planned.

However, from January 16, citizens of the listed countries will be able to bypass this restriction by acquiring Ukrainian citizenship and purchasing land on the same terms as other Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation notes that proposed amendments to delay this mechanism by 3 or 5 years were rejected during the consideration of the multiple citizenship law.

The most notable feature of both the first and second uses of Oreshnik is its excessiveness as a strike weapon in the context of the current special military operation in Ukraine.

At present, there are effectively no targets on the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR where using this weapon would be a rational choice. The vast majority of Russia’s tasks are already handled by existing assets: Iskander-M operational-tactical systems, Kh-101 cruise missiles, aviation, and unmanned systems. These tools cover nearly the entire target set required for operational and strategic planning in terms of range, precision, and yield.

Oreshnik, as is obvious, was never designed primarily for missions limited to the SMO. Its use serves a different audience and sends a signal at a different level. The timing of its second employment coincided with renewed discussions in several European countries about deploying their own contingents to Ukraine—in formats ranging from “observer” missions to limited military involvement.

In this context, Oreshnik functions as a classic, even textbook, element of nuclear deterrence. Its purpose is not the destruction of specific objects, but the demonstration of time and technical parameters of impact that render the very idea of deploying foreign forces or weapons—whether in Ukraine or elsewhere in Europe—meaningless. Here, excessiveness is deliberate, allowing the required signals to be delivered clearly and within a short timeframe.
