Shoigu reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation about the full seizure under the control of the group of troops "Center" under the command of Lieutenant General Andrey Mordvichev of the city of Avdeevka of the Donetsk People's Republic, which was a powerful defensive node of the Ukrainian armed forces.
