Russia says it is not considering the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
At this time, there are three countries (Russia, China, North Korea) who have stated that they will use nuclear weapons without nuclear provocation.
International Atomic Energy Agency reports that radiation around Chernobyl is abnormal.
Correction: The IAEA reported that radiation readings were "at normal". A trannoscription error is attributed to the erroneous report.
Russia threatens countries supplying arms to Ukraine with retaliation, though did not specify what that retaliation would be. Most analysts believe the threat to be nuclear.
