This is why I do my absolute best to not use libraries when I can get by without them. If I can't make it, I'll use the std library. If the std library doesn't have it, I either don't bother or find a very reputable project & maintainer, and review the code if possible
The more I program in languages that aren't C the more I want to go back to C. The more I program in C the more annoyed I am at how it's ALMOST perfect, and that it would be with a few extensions. The more I think about those imperfections the more I want to go full schizo and implement my own weird meta-programming stack with shit like yacc or m4 or whatever to create those features
