The victim was reportedly among the top 100 largest Litecoin holders. Roughly 20 minutes after the initial loss, ~$1M was frozen by the ZeroShadow exchange after detecting suspicious transactions.

👀UPDATE: THORChain, a decentralized exchange, was used to launder the $280M+ stolen funds.

The exchange publicly posted on X highlighting a swap of 818 BTC (~$78M) carried out by the attacker. Notably, the attacker paid ~$2M in fees to convert the funds into other cryptocurrencies.
