An anonymous buyer claims they purchased the username for $7,000, with @cupid using a “trusted Arabic middleman” to swap the tag to another account.
The buyer used the handle for about six days before it was reclaimed and changed, allegedly by the same person who facilitated the original swap. The username was then resold to the original buyer for $8,000.

UPDATE : About a week later, the username was banned for cyberbullying. The buyer clarified that while they don’t believe @cupid was directly responsible for the ban, he had recommended the swapper involved in the entire process.
The buyer explains this happened back in February when he was making high six figures and wasn’t bothered by the situation, trusting @cupid.
Now, he has reached out to us about the situation and provided screenshots, which we will be sharing soon.
