Hope you've all had a great new years :)

I've been pretty inactive and haven't done any active trades in like 2 weeks (which I'm happy about tbh seeing the price action).

Seeing how compressed price is, and how long this range has been going for, I'd expect action to pick back up over the next 1-2 weeks.

Will just be reactive to what we get and go from there. For now the market is still very slow and the US market is also closed today.

$BTC A new monthly & yearly candle has begun. You can assume that this candle will at least extend a bit further in both directions throughout the month.

Generally that first week especially does tend to give some fakeouts.

Seeing how compressed this chart has become, I would not be surprised to see a larger move from this area over the next few weeks as well.

$BTC A small CME Gap was created during the futures close around new years.

Good one to keep an eye on in the week ahead. Obviously it's also almost weekend so we might be getting a few gaps and a bit of a messy chart to start the year off.

$TOTAL Market Cap still trading in between the major support & resistance levels, similar to $BTC.

Once we get a clear break of either of these levels, that could signal where the next multi week/month move is headed.

$ETH $3.3K is the key level to break for the bulls to get a high timeframe reversal going.

On the downside, the november low at $2.6K is the main support.

$BTC Lost -43% relative to $GOLD over 2025. That's quite the move but nothing out of the ordinary as you can see.

The BTC vs Gold relation has seen many of these massive out and underperforming years. It's actually pretty rare to not see that.

$BTC Is trading at resistance as we speak, but if it were to break higher, there's a decent amount of liquidity all the way up to $98K.

On the downside, there's a bit of a gap and you won't reach the larger liquidity cluster until around the yearly open…
