➡️The Encounter is still ongoing.

➡️Militants have a vantage point on a hilltop, the thick vegetation is masking their movements, Drones are practically useless.

➡️ 2 Indian soldiers have succumbed to their injuries sustained during this encounter.

➡️Total personnel 12 Injured so far.

➡️Militants are holed up in a weapons cache so they won't run out of ammunition for a while.

➡️From the hill top, they utilize thermal scopes to target army scouts as drones are not able to pin down their location.

🇮🇳❌🇵🇰1 Indian Soldier KIA in a fierce fight between Indian armed forces and what media describes as a BAT(Border action team).

➡️According to media sources: BAT is a unit comprised of SSG commandos and militants who conduct Infiltration attemps on the LOC.

➡️ The Soldier lost his life in a Counter Infiltration operation launched by the Indian army to foil the Infiltration attempt.

🇮🇳❌🇮🇳One militant Eliminated, Officer Injured in Kulgam Encounter

➡️In the Guddar forest area of Kulgam, a joint search operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF Srinagar resulted in an exchange of gunfire with the suspected militants.

➡️Based on specific intelligence input, v troops observed suspicious activity. Upon being challenged, militants opened fire, leading to a fierce gun battle.

➡️During the encounter, one militant has been killed, and a Junior Commissioned Officer sustained injuries. The operation is currently in progress.

✋ Hi guys, remember me? Yeah so after a long pause due to my previously stated health issues, im gonna start posting news about J&K.

🇮🇳⚔️🇮🇳 On the Morning of 18/01/26, Government forces established contact with trts in Son Nar(Nalla), Village Mandra Gen Area Singhpora,Sub division Chatroo, Kishtwar area of J&K during a CASO.

☄️Militants are using higher ground and thick vegetation to their advantage, crippling Government forces(Indian Army and J&K Police) reconnaissance capabilities.

⛔️ 2 PARA special forces is spear heading the operation and so far they have suffered 8 casualties when one of the militant lobbed a grenade into the advancing party.

🕊 Out of the 8 casualties, 1 soldier succumbed to injuries, 3 out of 8 were airlifted.

All remaining 7 soldiers are reportedly in stable condition.

The operation continues.
