We turned a blind eye to cartels because for decades our foreign policy was all about desisting Communism via showering with financial assistance and other interventions. @LarryTaunton described to me personally how he saw USAID workers working with the cartels on the ground.

The fact is: we are a huge part of the equation of why cartels have so much power, and downstream of that is why so much mass migration exists. We can’t undo the past, but we can set a precedent by never accepting the lame “climate change” excuses for mass migration, kneecapping NED, and eliminating the cartels.

Yes, I’m emotional right now.

This is a real story; if anyone in the administration can help, reach out to @data_republican .

My cousin’s a missionary in Mexico; he and his wife live simply, takes no government money, and gives everything to share God’s word.

This morning I learned from @data_republican his in-law was told: pay the cartel $100,000 or watch a family member die.

He’ll forgive. I won’t. End the cartels.

To be clear: Rand Paul has plenty of good qualities!

But calling out NED's interventions overseas has never been one of them. He knows exactly how the U.S. intervention machinery operates; he’s been around it for years. So the fact that he's choosing now to raise his voice is proof it isn't about principle.
👌5
Again, this is a senator who sits on the Foreign Relations Committee. When he isn't grandstanding with symbolic "no" votes, he's quietly aligning himself with the machinery of U.S. foreign policy.

That's why his outrage at @JDVance rings hollow. It isn't about libertarian principle; it's about turf. And I’d bet every last dollar that's the real cause of his anger.
💯5
🧵 THREAD: Rand Paul is no libertarian, and here are the receipts.

When Paul criticized the strike on cartel boats, it wasn't about principle. He's spent his career entangled in the interventionist machine while calling himself a "libertarian."

He sits on the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. And in his own book, he went out of his way to praise U.S.-funded "democracy promotion" groups like Freedom House, the International Republican Institute, and the National Democratic Institute, calling them "non-partisan."

Non-partisan? Members of Congress literally sit on their boards! Freedom House takes Soros money. They operate as State Department cut-outs.

Rand Paul defended them. In his own words.

And that's just the beginning.

Let's dig in ⬇️

What I like about JD Vance’s foreign policy is how clearly he points out contradictions.

There's been a lot of debate over why the boat carried 11 people. That's unusual; typical go-fast crews run 2–6 at most. Some have speculated terrorism. IMO: the vessel was moving recruits along with cargo. Trinidad and Tobago is only a couple of hours away, and among the passengers was the son of the boat's owner, a man locally known for organizing drug routes.
🤔7
Wow. The trolls are out in force on this thread. Even the Muslim Brotherhood threads don't get this many.

That tells me something. When you expose the truth about cartel networks, you're poking at some very powerful interests. And judging by the swarm, plenty of people are furious that their days of doing business with these gangs may be numbered.

🚨🇻🇪🚤 THREAD: No, there were not "innocent fishermen" on that boat

On Sept 2, a U.S. strike destroyed a go-fast leaving San Juan de Unare, Sucre. Some on social media are pushing the "poor fishermen" line. This thread unpacks why that narrative doesn't hold water (no pun intended). 🧵

👉 Origin: Unare = entrenched cartel hub (Tren de Aragua / Tren del Llano).
👉 Destination: Pre-programmed GPS to Trinidad, a narco transshipment leg.
👉 Vessel: 12m "flipper," 4×200HP outboards. No fisherman runs that setup.
👉 TTPs: Multi-boat launch, jettisoned cargo, night run. Classic narco playbook.

💡 Families in Unare themselves admitted these men had "entered that world" for pay.

Stay tuned, I'll walk through the receipts.

I'll stop for now. This makes me furious.

Refuse Fascism, founded by literal communists and even Bill Ayers himself, is planning nationwide protests right now.

The Alliance for Global Justice is behind them.
🔹 They started as a nonprofit backing a communist coup in Nicaragua.
🔹 They played a role in founding the ANSWER Coalition.
🔹 They currently act as fiscal sponsor for groups like Refuse Fascism.
🔹 And the U.S. Treasury has sanctioned groups they openly financed, including one tied to terrorism.

It's all TAX EXEMPT.

If the government is serious about "following the money" behind protests, there's no easier place to start.

As @lamps_apple noted, Alliance for Global Justice started out as supporting the Sandinista Revolution. 26 U.S. Code § 501(c)(3) prohibits political activity for nonprofits, and yes, that includes foreign politics.

I was telling @wasatchdotco about this thread.

Me: “It’s so weird how so many people deny Venezuela works with cartels.”
Him: “It’s so weird how so many people make so much money.”

Yeah…
🔥4
🚨 Cap-Off: The Price of Denial 🚨

For nearly two decades, Venezuela's regime and its allies have perfected the art of denial: "There is no Cartel de los Soles... Tren de Aragua doesn't exist... Trump imagined it all." Each denial buys them more time. Each myth, echoed by globalist NGOs and sympathetic voices in the West, blunts scrutiny and contributes to the 100,000 annual overdose deaths in America.

It gave Iran’s Hezbollah network free rein to launder billions through Latin American cocaine corridors.

The full picture of why this happens is still in need of focusing ... but one thing is clear: it involves a lot of money, and a lot of powerful people.
🔥32
Previously, I thought our taxpayer dollars were being sacrificed to service corrupt interests.

To think that 100,000 lives a year might also be sacrificed in the form of overdoses completely changes the stakes.
