I looked up his LinkedIn profile. I'm 95% sure I found the right one, but there's still the risk of entity mismatch given it's such a common name.
If it is the right profile, then Dan Green is a creature of leftist NGOs coming from the Lutheran faith. He got his start being National Communications Director for the Democratic party. The specific church he was affiliated with has a LGBTQ+ group. So if I did find the correct person, then that's unambiguous proof he doesn't actually read the Bible like he claims.
Mainline Protestant churches have been a point of Communist capture since the civil rights era. Leftist churches are far more common than conservative ones, and they are all about politics, not Jesus. It takes work to find a good church.

The NED Journal of Democracy - which is a quasi-governmental publication written by the same people in charge of our foreign policy - openly writes about how to ban the Republican Party without appearing to be hypocrites.
