Turns out JamesHartline found out Bill Kristol's Defending Democracy Together got backing from a Soros-financed venture, Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Open Society Action Fund (the 501(c)(4) arm of George Soros) has funded Sixteen Thirty Fund to the tune of many millions, plus they are the top donor to New Ventures (the actual top donor to Sixteen Thirty Fund).

Sixteen Thirty Fund gave Defending Democracy Together 10 million dollars in 2020.

In contrast, Gallup showed that 2009 was the lowest point for Iraq in terms of percent thriving.

iThat's something to think about when looking at nationwide polling and aggregators. Are they truly independent? Or are they being backed by NGOs to push a narrative? Who knows?

TRT Holdings LLC did have a transaction in Salt Lake City in 2023, but Tillis does not list himself as an owner of TRT Holdings in his 2023 report nor is there any other evidence that he has dealings in Utah. My opinion - it is a different TRT Holdings LLC.

They came up with all kinds of "data" proving that it was the populists doing all the terrorism. (Satanic forces? Really?)

This was a very misleading use of data - as, first, the Global Terrorism Database incidents are almost exclusively overseas. Second, the fact that BLM did not make it as "global terrorism" calls in question the utility of this data.

But it's good enough for NED to make the case to jail J6 perpetuators.

Think about it. Liz Schrayer and USGLC took credit for getting the 95 billion dollar foreign aid passed through Congress last year.

Then Schrayer herself sits on the board which has advisory authority over where USAID dollars go.

How can that possibly be legal? I don't know.

Why is Bill Kristol's group financing a NGO called Mormon Women for the Ethical Government? And why did this NGO just honor Thom Tillis?

Rachel Kleinfeld is not a nobody. As labtechleigh found, she serves on the NED Board of Directors. She also serves on boards of Freedom House, Protect Democracy, and States United. NED and Freedom House are largely taxpayer funded, with Freedom House having a large Open Society Foundation financing component.

Good catch; the States United Democracy Center is the notorious "Muppet" NGO founded by Norm Eisen, largely funded through untraceable Donor-Advised Funds.

It unites Bill Kristol, Norm Eisen, and now Rachel Kleinfeld, the latter who I identified as a key influence in the ideological framework behind the Biden administration’s post-J6 weaponization efforts under a single NGO.

The documents are dated from 2018. If Anne Applebaum, who advised President Biden on his "Soul of the Nation" speech, was concurrently working with UK intelligence during her tenure on the NED board from 2016 to 2024, that would undermine the Endowment's foundational principle: that it be led by independent, non-governmental actors.

Open Society Foundation (OSF) gave grants to Al-Haq, a group designated as terrorist by Israel. Israel passed this intelligence onto the CIA, but the CIA claimed insufficient evidence for designating these groups as terrorists.

Today, we also learned that OSF also gave the International Republican Institute (IRI) and National Democratic Institute (NDI) grants. The IRI and NDI are subsidiaries of the National Endowment for Democracy, which is a quasi-governmental NGO which works closely with the CIA.

Did Soros money influence the CIA's refusal to designate Al-Haq as a terrorist organization?

Democracy, Inc. is big business. Since 2016, 1,403 democracy-related nonprofits have seen their revenue grow by 50%, now reporting a combined $20 billion. That puts them squarely in Fortune 500 territory, outpacing corporate giants like Adobe, Cognizant, and Colgate-Palmolive. And this doesn't even include private foundations (990-PFs) or newer organizations just getting started.

Turns out, George Soros gave $1.7 million to the IRI and $1.5 million to the NDI... two D.C.-based "democracy promotion" fronts tied to the State Department and both subsidiaries of NED.

👉 Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, Joni Ernst, and Dan Sullivan all actively sit on the IRI board.

These groups were created to run on U.S. taxpayer dollars, not Soros money.

Why are either IRI or NDI taking his money? He's buying influence over both parties, and the GOP is letting him in the front door.

Hey SenateGOP : why are you letting Soros fund your foreign ops machine?

Thanks to bullfrog35 for spotting this.
