Could a hacker change the client software of Bitcoin Core to accept fraudulent updates to the consensus rules? Is there a manual update process? What are deterministic builds? Can fraudulent transactions be validated and propagated? Why are there progressive time-outs for nodes that propagate incorrect information? Would miners deliberately propagate invalid blocks?

Mining with Brain
We have repeatedly stated that the core value of our network is developers and those who use their projects. And while the vast majority of the community is waiting for the MBank launch, there is a much larger system in the works—the platform for Minter Geeks.
Let’s get straight to the point: top-notch developers, designers, managers, and marketers will have a chance to undergo a merit-based scoring process and start receiving daily payouts from a dedicated fund. They will be able to spend these funds on whatever they deem necessary, such as launching prototypes, hiring personnel, and paying for hosting services. We do not set any limits; what we do, though, is aim to build a system of continuous support for those who do something that matters network-wide.
In the beginning, the fund will be comprised of donations, and all coins will be delegated to the masternodes so that everyone could start getting their daily share. The initial size of the Geeks Fund will stand at 30 million BIP. Twenty million will be provided by the DAO, and another ten, by the team.
We are establishing a system, the first of its kind, where anyone who can really do something meaningful for the community will be rewarded for their brain on a day-to-day basis!
