For some, this may feel like an ending, akin to a symbolic funeral, while for others, it signals a green light for new beginnings. Many may experience a blend of these energies.

There may come a time when you are called upon to release everything.

Here I am meaning everything, not just external possessions, not just career or relationships.

There may come a time when you are called to release an old way of being, an old role, an old set of behaviours, an old identity.

There may even come a time when the spiritual path you are on loses its brightness somehow.

This experience is like the spiritual master walking willingly into the desert to face the unknown aspects of self that need to be surrendered to a higher power.

The reason this experience can feel challenging is because the 3D ego fears its demise and will do whatever it can to block, distract, or sabotage entry into that void.

For some this process may feel very lonely as few may appreciate this experience. At the very time you need the support of loving friends they may disappear.

I can tell you that after a struggle the ego realises that the death it fears is actually a transformation. Then it relaxes and ceases to struggle and block and instead allows forward motion.

Every spiritual aspirant and master has faced the void in order to step up to the next level in the journey.

Do not fear the void. It is a space of revelation and restoration.
