🇭🇺🇨🇳We continue the section "Frail Hungarian Diplomacy" - Hungarian Foreign Minister goes to Beijing
👤Péter Szijjártó posted on Facebook that he was going on a diplomatic visit to Beijing to "discuss the peace plan in Ukraine" and cooperation with China:
💭 «There is a war going in our neighborhood door, Europe is gripped by war psychosis, so peace efforts are of particular importance and must be constantly strengthened. We support the peace plan proposed by the Chinese for two reasons: first, because it is about peace, and second, because it exists. Finally, it is something that is not about continuing the war, but about ending it...» the statement reads.
🤷♂️The minister also notes that he does not want Europe's relations with China to deteriorate and sees China not as a threat but as a country with which Hungary has great opportunities for cooperation:
💭 «Economic cooperation between the West and the East (Europe and China) can indeed create a division of labor that benefits everyone.»
🥴On Friday, the minister decided to threaten to block sanctions against Muscovy because of the sanctioning of the Hungarian bank OTP Bank as a war sponsor.
🗣 «The fact that OTP Bank is on the list of international sponsors of the war in Ukraine is scandalous and unacceptable. It is astonishing. It is outrageous.» Szijjártó said.

Situation on the frontlines as of May 14, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian and Siverskyi direction — no changes. It is reported that the potato-führer is ill. If it dies, it will trigger interesting processes, as the russian federation will have to forcibly install their puppet.
▶️ On the Svatove direction — localized fighting continues along the contact line. The situation near Masiutivka and Kuzemivka is being clarified.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — the enemy advanced in the city along Levanevsky Street. Katsaps have lost positions 1 km south-east of 199.5, near Bohdanivka. The situation in the Stupky tract (known in the media as "the forest") is unknown, it is reported that the enemy has abandoned its positions there. Klishchiyivka is under enemy control.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — localized fighting continues near Avdiivka and in Maryinka.
▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes.
🗂 Analytical note. The enemy still manages to have partial success in Bakhmut. Despite problems on the outskirts, militants from the illegal private military company "wagner" continue to fight in Bakhmut. In Klishchiyivka, two high-ranking russian federation officers and an ammunition depot were eliminated.

🗳 Both parties are already preparing for the second round, although there were numerous discussions yesterday and overnight from the opposition about uncounted votes and claims that Erdogan's opponent actually won in the first round. Sinan Ogan, who received 5.3%, supported Kilicdaroglu for the second round.

🇮🇷In Iran:

🇹🇷Here's how the seats in the Turkish Parliament will be distributed following the election results for the Grand National Assembly:
🟠 — Erdogan's coalition forces;
🔴 — Kilicdaroglu's party block;
🟣 — TS Alliance;
🙋🏻♂️The control of the parliament remained with Erdogan's block. However, the presidential election did not yield decisive results in the first round, so the country is awaiting a second round of elections, which will take place on May 28th.

🇬🇧 The United Kingdom has announced that it will begin training Ukrainian pilots this summer.
🗣Commenting on the visit of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to the United Kingdom, the country's Ministry of Defense made a number of intriguing statements. Notably, they mentioned the transfer to our country of "hundreds of air defence missiles and further unmanned aerial systems including hundreds of new long-range attack drones with a range of over 200km."
👀The most intriguing is the statement about training our pilots:
💬 "This summer we will commence an elementary flying phase for cohorts of Ukrainian pilots to learn basic training. This will adapt the programme used by UK pilots to provide Ukrainians with piloting skills they can apply a different kind of aircraft. This training goes hand in hand with UK efforts to work with other countries on providing F16 jets – Ukraine’s fighter jets of choice."
☝️It should be noted that the United Kingdom does not have F-16 fighters in its arsenal, so it will not be able to transfer them independently. Most likely, they are referring to a "fighter coalition", similar to what happened with the Leopard tanks - the United Kingdom will facilitate this in every way possible.

Situation on the frontlines as of May 15, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian and Siverskyi direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Svatove direction — localized fighting continues along the contact line. The enemy captured Masiutivka, bombarding the village with artillery. The contact line in the area is being clarified.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — fighting continues in the city of Bakhmut, the enemy has advanced to the intersection of Levanevsky and Yuveliyna streets. Battles are ongoing in the Stupky tract and south of Ivanivske. Near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, the 225th Territorial Defense Brigade eliminated a russian stronghold held by the PMC "veterans".
🔊 Today we published an interception of a conversation between the f**kers about how they completely lost Klishchiyivka. Actually, the recordings are already a few days old. Klishchivka is under enemy control, and such statements indicate panic among the enemy.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — localized fighting continues near Avdiivka and in Marinka. South of Pervomaisk, the enemy is traditionally unlucky.
▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes.
🗂 Analytical note.There was already one bald general named Pavlov in the katsap history of the twentieth century. During Operation Barbarossa, instead of sacrificing people, he led them out of a double encirclement. For this, he was shot in Lefortovo. The time will come and we will probably remember this historical case in the context of the current war.

🇵🇱🇪🇺«The EU is not ready for direct confrontation with Russia,»- Polish Deputy Prime Minister
👤Piotr Glinski, the current Minister of Culture and National Heritage and Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, told Polish media during a press conference that support for Ukraine from the EU and those countries that support Ukraine the most should be much greater:
🗣 «We appreciate some of the steps, but since the Commissioner was talking about European aid and mentioned the amount of 10 million euros, I believe that some members of the European Commission privately own assets that exceed the entire annual cultural aid of the European Union to Ukraine,» the Deputy Prime Minister said.
🫡He also reiterated that Ukraine is fighting not only for its sovereignty, but also for the sovereignty of the whole of Europe.
💭«The European political class is immature in terms of the challenges facing Europe, not only political and military. Putin on Poland's borders is Putin on the EU's borders, and the European community is not militarily prepared for a confrontation with Russia. This is absolutely obvious,» Glinski said.
🤔The minister believes that Muscovy's influence on European elites and Europeans' different attitudes toward the war in Ukraine are among the reasons for the reluctance to increase support:
✍️«An ordinary citizen drinking coffee in Cologne or Strasbourg is not affected by this war, does not feel this threat. There are countries with different histories and different current priorities. It is our duty to make sure they remember.»

🇪🇺A two-day summit of the Council of Europe member countries' leaders is ongoing in the capital of Iceland, where the main topic is holding Moscow accountable for its act of aggression.
📜Today, member countries signed a declaration on creating a "register of damage" from ruzzia's aggression, which will be located in The Hague. It was signed by 40 out of 46 member countries. After internal procedures are resolved, countries that are not members of the Council of Europe can also support the declaration, in particular, G7 countries.
📎The agreement provides for the creation of a database to record evidence of losses or damages inflicted on the state of Ukraine, physical and legal entities, due to unlawful actions of the Russian Federation, starting from February 24, 2022. This database will also include financial claims of victims against the Russian Federation.
🚫It's worth noting the 6 countries that refused to sign the declaration to create a "register of damage":
🇷🇸 Serbia;
🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina;
🇭🇺 Hungary;
🇦🇲 Armenia;
🇦🇿 Azerbaijan;
🇹🇷 Turkiye.
🤔There are many different reasons why certain countries are on this list, but it's interesting that these countries typically have relationships with ruzzia or have their own interests that they could use to their advantage, such as Turkiye.
⚡️ And it should be noted that there is another country not included in the "register of damage" that should be held accountable for its act of aggression - Belarus. It is a direct ally of ruzzia, provides its territory for committing terrorist acts against Ukraine, and its soldiers are also fertilizing our land, which are clear signs of aggression under international law. Therefore, there should be two countries held accountable for committed crimes - russia and bellorussia!

🇹🇷"We will not leave our homeland to a fake world leader who yesterday was a co-chair of the Greater Middle East, and now focuses on Russia, whose door he is scratching and knocking on" - Kemal Kilicdaroglu
📣Erdogan's opponent in the second round of the Turkish presidential election published a video that can be called the first campaign video of the second round. In addition to mentioning Erdogan's ties to Muscovy, Kemal drew attention to the refugee problem, mentioning that there are 10 million refugees in Turkiye. "And they still continue to enter our veins." The opposition candidate also called on young people to come to the polls.
💭 "Let those who love their country come to the ballot box. We will fight to the end. We will definitely win. No doubt!" Kilicdaroglu concluded his speech.

🇭🇺The Hungarian government will block a tranche from the European Peace Fund and will not support new sanctions against Muscovy if Ukraine does not remove OTP Bank from the sanctions list, according to Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó
💭"I would like to clearly state that until Ukraine keeps OTP on the list of international sponsors of war, Hungary cannot agree with decisions that would require the European Union and its member states to make further economic and financial sacrifices," Szijjártó said in a statement.
🥴Additionally, Péter stated that Hungary does not support sanctions against Chinese companies that could be included in the EU sanctions list, as this could provoke a negative reaction from Beijing and harm cooperation.

Situation on the frontlines as of May 17, 2023
▶️ On the Belarusian direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Siverskyi direction — no changes. Mutual attacks continue along the border.
▶️ On the Svatove direction — localized fighting continues along the contact line. The battles continue near Masyutivka and Kuzemivka. The enemy has no successes.
▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — in the city, the katsaps continue to push the Defense Forces out of the city, fighting is taking place on the western edge of Bakhmut. Fighting continues in the Stupky tract and south of Ivanivske, the detailed situation in the area will be known tomorrow.
▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — another attempt by the enemy to attack Pervomaiske from the south with the support of armored vehicles failed. The enemy suffered numerous casualties and retreated. More detailed information will be available tomorrow.
▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — no changes.
▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes.
🗂 Analytical note. Fierce battles are ongoing south of Ivanivske and in the Stupky area. The enemy is deceiving by publishing information that the Armed Forces of Ukraine easily took something and pushed back russian soldiers. This is done for domestic consumption. Our fighters from Adam Joint Tactical Group and Azov Brigade have to fight for every square meter. Tomorrow we will understand the situation more accurately, but we should not be comforted by Klishchiyivka, there are still heavy battles ahead for 233.3 and 215.7, and the adjacent forest belts.
🔄 The map update will take place in the afternoon.
