Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on June 30th, 2023

▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes. Katsaps shelled the border areas in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the enemy continues local offensive actions in Serebryansk forestry. Results unknown. In the area of Tavilzhanka, our artillery is striking at the enemy. Near Kuzemivka, katsaps have already attacked our positions near the railway and consistently cover Novoselivske with artillery. Holding the Bilohorivka salient is becoming a very difficult task, as there are many shots of hits on our equipment and potential strong points, both near the village itself and in the industrial zone online. If positions are lost in Serebryansk forestry, our positions in Bilohorivka (L) may turn into a shooting range.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — katsaps are trying to bring up reserves to prevent our advancement in Berkhivka and Yahidne. West of height 233.3, the Defense Forces had significant success. In fact, the battles for 215.7 and 233.3 will be decisive for consolidating the success of our forces, which have been gnawing positions meter by meter from the f***ers for the past months. Shots of our forces trying to attack east of Druzhba have appeared, but the result is unknown.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — katsaps continue to attack along the Krasnohorivka-Kruta Balka line. The intensity of enemy attacks has been steady and the Armed Forces are holding them back beyond human endurance. South of Vuhledar, our artillery struck at enemy positions near the reservoir.

▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — no changes. Only some combat contact line clarifications.

▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — battles continue north of Robotyne.

▶️ On the Tavria direction — no changes. Katsaps continue to level Dachi to the ground. Besides artillery and aviation, Dachi is also being hit with missiles. The exact situation at the bridgehead is unknown.

🗂 Analytical note. Over the past day, the Defense Forces have had success on the Bakhmut direction. In recent days, there has been a noticeable increase in shelling from both our side and the katsap side. The liberated territories near Kurdyumivka have been clarified. From the end of March through May, the fighters of the 28th Mechanized Brigade were able to achieve success there, but due to the information silence regime, we only now received permission to publish changes.

🇺🇸First reaction to Zaluzhny's interview has surfaced

🔫Mark Milley, Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff, speaking at the National Press Club, commented on the counteroffensive, generally agreeing with Valeriy Zaluzhnyi's points.

💬"Is the counteroffensive moving slower than computers or other people might have said? Yes. I said it would take six, eight, ten weeks. It will be very hard. It will be very long and it will be very, very bloody. And no one should have any illusions about this. Ukraine is fighting for its life. This is an existential struggle for Ukraine".

👷The American general compared this to the familiar to Americans Normandy landing, when plans on paper had a march to Paris, and in reality it turned out to be a bloody gnawing of each meter. He also said that he was not surprised by the slow progress, as these are the realities of combat operations:

✈️ Eight British Hawker Hurricane planes from the World War II era were found near Kyiv

🔍The discovery started with the finding of an unexploded bomb from WWII nearby, and further in the ravine there were the planes. The soviet army received them as part of the lend-lease, which according to the muscovites, of course, decided nothing and was unnoticed.

🔫 For some reason, the eight planes found in one place were buried after the war to add them to the destroyed category and avoid payment. This is evidenced by the weaponry and electronics removed from the boards. After this, they were taken out of the aerodrome and dumped in a ravine, where they were buried. Now experts are disassembling the remains and trying to restore the planes from the parts.

There is a rule to consolidate positions, tighten up logistics, survive the first night, and only then can we say that a territory is liberated. In the south, it is very difficult with the enemy waiting for our offensive. Novodonetske is another unpleasant example. Over the past year, this village alone has changed hands several times.
