🗣According to a senator who was present at the meeting, the senators agreed to adopt a resolution condemning the coup and endorsing the efforts of ECOWAS leaders to restore constitutional order in Niger. However, they ruled out military options, believing that the Nigerian army is poorly equipped and not prepared for war.

▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the enemy continues to pressure Novoselivske and has begun a strong push in the area between Lyman Pershyi and Pershotravneve. There are ongoing battles near Novehorivka, Nadiya, and in the Serebryansk forestry. Significant damage has been inflicted on the advancing enemy forces in all sections of this front, either through artillery or in infantry battles.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — no changes. Heavy battles continue on both the northern and southern flanks of Bakhmut.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — recent days have been marked by the sounds of artillery duels and the use of our cluster munitions.

▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — no changes. The enemy's attempt to attack near Pryiutne failed.

🐠 The forest belt dubbed "fish" by our troops was captured by the enemy in the 20s of July. Yesterday, the enemy released footage of our unsuccessful assault on the area east of the "fish." Essentially, they stormed the very forest belt-ground from which everything once began. Regrettably, our troops had to withdraw.

✅ We received confirmation that these actions are relatively recent. As a result, the enemy no longer controls the southern outskirts of Novoyehorivka.

🇨🇳🇵🇭A Chinese Coast Guard vessel with water cannons attacked a Philippine Navy supply ship

📍The two countries have a longstanding territorial dispute over shallow waters to the west of the Philippines. In 1995, China began constructing a military base and airfield there by reclaiming land from the sea, aiming to establish a foothold in the region.

⛴In response, in 1999, the Philippines placed an old, rusted ship on the Ayungin Shoal nearby. The ship continuously houses a garrison and serves as a symbolic claim to the territory on behalf of the Philippines.

⛵️On Saturday, a small Philippine Navy vessel was transporting fuel and provisions to the garrison when it encountered resistance from the Chinese Navy. According to the Chinese statement, there were two supply boats and two Philippine Coast Guard vessels carrying construction materials. They allegedly entered Chinese waters without permission, prompting the Chinese response.
