Situation on the frontlines as of the end of the day on August 11, 2023

▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the katsaps continue to pressure near Vilshana, Novoselivske, and Serebyansk forestry.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — no changes. It remains heated along the Klishchiivka-Kurdyumivka line. Artillery duels continue.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — no changes.

▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — Defense Forces continue to push the enemy out of Urozhayne.

▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — clarified the combat contact line near Robotyne. Intense battles continue in the vicinity of this village. This clarification comes with a significant delay. In recent days, one of the units directly entered the village but couldn't secure it.

🕷🇺🇦 On our trip to the East, we visited the commander of the Joint Tactical Group "Adam" and Hero of Ukraine, Yevhen Mezhevikin

🦾He began his military journey during the ATO as part of the famed 93rd Mechanized Brigade, commanded tanks that covered the approaches and won tank battles. Since 2022, he has been commanding a combined tactical group that holds the southern flank of Bakhmut.

🇷🇺 The katsaps accuse the USA of provocations in Syria

👀 According to their statement, on the night of August 11, two pairs of Su-34 and Su-35 during a routine flight detected that the targeting systems of the F-35 jet were acting upon them. This led to the activation of onboard defense systems (specific systems not specified).

🛩Furthermore, they claim that throughout the day they recorded 27 violations by coalition forces, manifested mostly by the intrusion of F-16/35, Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft and the MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones into their airspace.

🤔Taking their statements seriously and responding seems pointless, but the precedent where an American aircraft was targeting the katsap ones is quite intriguing.

🛡 Border guards reported the installation of a new border marker on Snake Island

🫡 The island itself was liberated in June of the previous year, marking a significant victory for the Ukrainian military at sea. On July 8th of this year, on the occasion of the 500th day of the war, it was visited by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

▶️ On the Belarusian, Siverskyi and Bilhorod directions — no changes.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — the enemy attempted to attack Synkivka, approaching the settlement closely, but a counter-attack managed to push the katsaps one forest belt away from the village. Overall, the situation tends to get more complex. We don't know exactly what's happening in Bilohorivka (L), but recently there have been videos from there showing either our lost equipment or significant losses directly in the trenches. Such information suggests that nothing good is happening there, and the potential loss of the village will affect the further defense of Serebrynsk forestry.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — no changes. The katsaps brought a lot of artillery, drones, and personnel to Klishchiivka and Andriivka, trying to hold them at any cost.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — no changes.

▶️ On the Berdyansk direction — battles continue in the southern part of Urozhayne. We want to acknowledge the person responsible for artillery, who really achieved good results. Soon there will be more of them.

▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — battles continue in Robotyne and its surroundings. Overall, the situation is very tough, and only those involved in the battles can truly understand it.

▶️ On the Tavria direction — the operation is ongoing, and it's best to refrain from premature comments and wait for information from an official who truly understands the situation.

🗂 Analytical note. Despite the deceptive statements of the katsaps' military correspondents, the enemy could not enter Synkivka, although they did achieve a tactical success. A challenging situation remains in Bilohorivka (L), Klishchiivka, Avdiivka, and Mariinka. In the south, Defense Forces are slowly advancing. Some territories are in the gray zone, as it's challenging to establish a foothold there.

🇺🇦Wait for the official statement from the guys who liberated it - it's their merit. The first attempts to free Urozhayka (as the fighters nicknamed it) were in early June, when counter-offensive actions began, but they all broke against the fortified area in the north of the village, which was protected by a mechanized wall in the first line from the east.
