🗓 Roughly, between August 17-20, there were intense battles for the forest near Zaliznyanske. As a result of a planned operation, the enemy was driven out of the forest, inflicting heavy losses in manpower. However, the enemy brought in tanks and infantry reserves. At least one ruzzian tank was destroyed, but our forces were eventually repelled by the same infantry reserves on the third day of combat.

🔧 And this is not to mention their EFPs (Engineered Fighting Positions). The enemy not only entrenched the forest but also dug tunnels under the road to Sloviansk.

👥 Both sides suffered significant losses. It became evident that the enemy has a much larger manpower reserve, which they are willing to sacrifice easily. In a meat grinder, to be the first to be wiped out, so every infantryman must be worth their weight in gold, and every operation (even defensive ones) must be meticulously planned.

▶️ On the Svatove direction — north of Novoiehorivka, the katsaps, using shoiguist units, launched a massive attack on elevation 190.8. The Defense Forces managed to reclaim some positions, but the enemy closely approached the height with the support of tanks that move freely across the crossings.

▶️ On the Bakhmut direction — fighting continues in the Klishchiivka and Andriivka areas, the outcome is unknown.

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — the situation with the ventilation shaft of the Trudivska mine remains unclear. Counter-battles of the 59th Motorized Brigade continue near Nevelske.

▶️ On the Berdiansk direction — clarified the Priyutne area. The area nicknamed "pid*rlis" by the soldiers is now under our control, but our forces could not establish positions near the gardens close to the village. The enemy is trying to retake positions using fresh shoiguist reinforcements.

▶️ On the Zaporizhzhia direction — battles continue west of Verbove. Our infantry was spotted east of Novoprokopivka, suggesting possible success of our forces further south.

🗂 Analytical note. Over the past day, a series of changes along the contact line were observed. On the Svatove direction, the enemy is trying to achieve some success near Synkivka, Novoiehorivka, and in Serebryansk forestry, but "no progress there". Important areas near Priyutne and Verbove are updated. We note the increasing influence of convicts-shoiguist forces on the frontline's activity. According to intercepts, they are planned to be utilized in combat due to the support of prigozhyn.

👨🏿64-year-old Ali Bongo was detained shortly after the election results were announced, according to which he was re-elected, despite opposition claims of rigging. The Bongo family has been in power for 56 years. In addition to the president, his son and the head of the democratic party were also detained.
