🇦🇲The National Assembly of Armenia voted to ratify the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court

🙋🏻‍♂️Parliament passed the bill with 60 votes in favor and 22 against. The opposition factions of the National Assembly "Armenia Alliance" and "I Have Honor" voted against. Armenia signed the Rome Statute on October 1, 1999, after which the ratification process was suspended because the Constitutional Court in 2004 recognized some of the obligations set forth in the statute as contrary to the Constitution. In March 2023, the Court reconsidered this position and recognized compliance.

💬The Representative for International Legal Affairs, Yeghishe Kirakosyan, said very interesting words about accountability: "The International Criminal Court investigates serious international crimes within its jurisdiction, and the purpose of the court is to bring to justice those who have committed serious international crimes. These include war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. There are also new changes to the statute, one of which is the change made at the Kampala conference in 2010, which added the crime of aggression to the list of crimes."

⚖️Of course, these words were directed towards the actions of Azerbaijan, with which Armenia is in conflict. But the most interesting thing is whether these words will be taken into account in relation to the aggression of Muscovy, because the ratification of the Rome Statute of the ICC obliges Armenia to arrest the Pootin for whom the judges of the International Criminal Court have issued an arrest warrant.

📍Earlier, in April, Armenians stated that this would not affect bilateral relations between the two countries, and they would not arrest the pootin when he would appear on Armenian territory. But today the situation has changed. It will be interesting to see the next steps, because the rules are not excluded from the game, it is played according to all the norms. And practice has shown Armenia that you cannot sit on two chairs at the same time.

💻 At the largest tech event in Ukraine, IT Arena, our team's own development, Kolossal, was presented. This conference gathers investors and startups that should be of interest to the former. During development, we take into account our experience of communicating with units and weaknesses that we will never tell you about, but the system is able to partially fix them.

🤝 We are now moving to the alpha testing stage. Therefore, we are ready to give the system to the military units and subunits for testing. The priority will be to provide written feedback after use.

⚡️ The UN has verified the authenticity of a video showing the killing of Ukrainian soldier Oleksandr Matsiyevsky by muscovites after he said "Glory to Ukraine!"

🔎The Organization also analyzed an additional five materials with executions of Ukrainian soldiers and concluded that all of them are authentic. In particular, the material was analyzed, where a video of the beheading of a Ukrainian soldier by muscovites was filmed.

"The report calls on UN member states to demand that russian authorities grant access to independent observers to all detention and internment facilities." 🇺🇸🇺🇦 The Government of the United States of America has donated approximately 1.1 million rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

🌐The U.S. Central Command website reported that the government obtained ownership of these munitions on July 20, 2023, through the Department of Justice’s civil forfeiture claims against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). These munitions were originally seized by U.S. Central Command naval forces from the transiting stateless dhow MARWAN 1, Dec. 9, 2022. The munitions were being transferred from the IRGC to the Houthis in Yemen in violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2216

🟠 On June 18, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a separatist leader who wanted to separate an independent Sikh state called Khalistan from India, was killed in his truck in the parking lot of a Sikh temple in the western Canadian city of Surrey by 34 gunshot wounds.

🟠 Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that "credible allegations" of a possible link between Indian agents and the assassination of Khalistan activist Hardeep Nijjar were passed on to New Delhi "several weeks ago."

▶️ On the Avdiivka direction — the enemy's attempts to recapture positions near Pervomaiske were unsuccessful. Fighting continues in Marinka and north of the city.
