The Indian states of Rajasthan and Telangana have declared an epidemic of mucormycosis, a fungal disease known as black mold. This rare infection is caused by microscopic fungi (mucormycetes). They live in the soil everywhere, they are often found on the surface of rotting plants, including vegetables, so the disease occurs worldwide. "Black mold" affects the nose, eyes and respiratory organs, in the affected areas, especially in the nose, due to tissue necrosis there is a characteristic black scab. Death comes quickly. Around a half of the patients can be saved during the treatment.
Not surprisingly, such an infection developed in India, they consider themselves chosen by God, but washing only on holiday and live in unsanitary conditions.
