The Ministry of Defense reported on the design and start of creation of standard locations for units of the Volunteer National Defense Forces in Vilnius, Ukmerge, Pasvalys and Kelme.
The first phase of work in Vilnius is planned to be completed in early 2027.
The buildings will house headquarters, barracks, administrative and warehouse premises.

The suspension of arms supplies to Ukraine, Poland had, in particular, more than two dozen Patriot PAC-3 missiles, more than two dozen Stinger air defense systems, Hellfire air-to-ground missiles, and more than 90 AIM air-to-air missiles.
The Pentagon noted that this is not a complete cessation of aid to Ukraine - Trump will be offered support options that are consistent with his goal of ending the war.
