As of today, the second batch of goods received under this agreement is being unloaded. In order to achieve full interoperability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with NATO member states, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has implemented the initiative of the President of Ukraine to supply medical equipment and armaments, - said the Commissioner of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Oleksandr Machychuk.
Another, third consignment is expected to arrive from the United States Government in the near future.
The total amount of material resources from the United States to Ukraine as a result of the agreements reached during the recent visit of President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States is $ 60 million. It is provided in addition to the previously agreed amount of $ 250 million.
In total, since 2014, Ukraine has received logistical support from the United States totaling more than $ 2 billion.
